So... today i was checking my bank account and apparently i made a payment for $1154, reported to the bank but wtf how does this even happened? and i'm wondering what will happen with my money at the end
And the worst part, i don't buy random stuff on internet, just on ebay with paypal and other sites with mastercard securecode.. fucking shit
>>1060432
Wot.
You aren't making any sense. You made a payment for $1154 for what? To pay off your credit card? How did you "apparently" do this without knowing?
Can't say, but one way is you got owned by some xss vulnerability while purchasing something on ebay from a evil seller, or maybe one of the sites you purchased from got hacked by gooks. POS systems are notoriously vulnerable too. Or maybe your card has a RFID chip and someone passively scanned it. Rather than pay to secure the systems credit card companies feel its better to simply provide fraud protection. There are videos that explain the security problems on youtube.
Someone stole my credit card information or scanned my credit card.. i don't know how, but this ever happened to anybody of you guys? and is that so, what i have to expect will happen with the bank?
Okay, bear with me, U.S tax n00b here.
Last year I moved to the states and started to work as a bartender. It's a shady area of taxing since there are tips involved. All my credit card tips were being reported and I was getting them on a paycheck, biweekly. YES, they used to tax my tips (healthcare, state, federal, ss) since it was a big hotel. I rarely had cash tips and if any, there was no report (aaaand it was under $30 bucks anyways). Now what I want to know is if I still owe IRS. I hear that service industry workers are screwed every year.

You owe the IRS if you didn't pay taxes on your (reported) tips. Cash tips I wouldn't worry about.
>>1060419
My tips were subject to deductions.
>>1060451
I don't get what you're saying. Do you mean they already deducted taxes from your tips? If so... whats the problem?
So I'm looking for the easiest way to prostitute yourself.
I tried craigslist but someone anonymous who knows me found me.
I tried seeking arrangement and sugardaddyforme but I don't get any replies.
In case you're wondering, I look like an anime trap, so it's not because I'm unattractive.
I could model but it's really competitive and more about how thin you are than how pretty your face is.
How would /biz/ prostitute themselves?

So, with the markets where they are, I've finally decided that I want to sell my bitcoins to cover up some of my losses.
It's been so long (I've held bitcoins for almost 4 years now) that I don't know where to sell them. Specifically in Canada.
I have googled some websites, but I don't know if they're trust worthy. Has anyone used cavirtex before or canadianbitcoins?
If not, what is a trusted site to tell them on?
>>1060240
Sell them and buy ETH. If you don't you will regret your entire life.
>>1060247
Sure, why not, but where do I sell the coins?
Can't buy anything if I can't sell.
>>1060251
Deposit your bitcoins on kraken they are a canadian exchange. Although ive never used them.
Is it the old 'sophisticated hackers robbed us' excuse or are they just incompetent? How much are you out?

Ethereum will be at $5 on Wednesday GMT

I bought 380 ETH and then panic sold to buy dogecoins to try to get them out of craptsy
>>1060201
No its not incompetence. They know what they are doing. I don't know how you guys trust any exchanges at all. I mean... how many times has this fucking happened? At least a couple dozen different exchanges involved in thefts, scams and frauds?

Why didn't you go to your local community college to get an Associates in dental hygiene and make $70k a year?
Were you that desperate for a suit and long hours?
No dentist wants a male hygienist.
My parents are dentists
hygienists don't make 70k lol and they're basically retarded
>majored in STEM
>have a job
>make $70k
>don't work long hours
>every day is different
>have considerable autonomy in what I get to do at work
But nah, your way sounds better OP
Just a friendly notice for nocoiners.
If you bought Ether this time last week you would have doubled your worth as of today.

Yes, twitter is a fake startup.
Hey guys I have a few questions maybe someone can answer them.
How do I do the taxes thing?
Let's say im starting to make money through ebay or stocks etc.
Do I need to pay a percentage of the money earned to the government? and how do I go about doing that?
Sorry for these dumb noob-tier questions but I hope someone can answer.
>>1060062
Well, you don't really have to pay sales tax in most situations. Your customers should be paying use tax but nobody enforces it.
If you make a profit, you should be adding it to your total income from a real job. But there are lots of ways to not make a profit and actally get a refund instead. Keep track if your expenses, from boxes and peanuts to the PC you're using to do eBay and "market research."

Well, what book do you recommend?
>>1060033
You don't learn entrepreneurship reading books. You go out there make friends and business spartners with like minded people. Most businesses fail because
>you think you can do everything on your own
>your team mates are just in it for the money / don't really believe in your idea
>your idea is too stupid or unfeasible to be commercialised
>luck
I'm a 19 year old Australian man, (20 this May) and I'm completely lost and depressed in regards to gaining employment.
I never finished high school due to recurrant medical issues (i spent 2 years trying to, but I kept getting sick). I got a Certificate II in Security Operations to make up for this, and this was accepted as a "Year 10 Equivilent"
My friends are either working full time or in university, and I can intellectually keep up with them, I always have.
I've applied for hundreds of jobs, and I'm literally willing to...

How do NEETs support themselves with no income, job, or business?
Serious question.
99% Autismbux, 1% inheritance.
NEET here. I WANT to work but unfortunately due to my lack of experience i'll never get a proper job. There is like no employer who wants to provide on the job training. They just expect you to have 5 years experience straight out of college and "superior leadership" skills or whatever. Also my social ineptness and autism prevents me from networking with people in general. Just stuck in a vicious circle and don't know what to do really other than help out with chores around the house and stuff...

>Autismbux
SSI isn't enough for someone to live off, though.
At least not comfortably in America or (I would assume) most other Western countries.
What is a good internet broker /biz/.
What do you use for online trading.
I use Interactive Brokers, but they're not for chumps. 10k minimum deposit, but it's worth it if you're serious.

What about Plus500? I am a chump.
