What went wrong?

Too many noobs and trolls
>>1061754
What went right? Nobody is actually using the thing for its "intended" purpose.
>>1061754
a bubble, too much hype and overvalued. not mature enough to be used in what the people predicted it could be.
>cope with it
Are there any accountants or auditors on here? I've been reading a lot about them lately and it seems like a great career to have with solid demand. What are the pros/cons of it? Would you recommend it?
>>1061753
If you get involved with audit, make sure you get in at a Fortune 500 with a strong acquisitions department. It is not too difficult to transition from Internal Audit to Risk Management then ultimately Mergers and Acquisitions (which is where the real money is at).
>your gif is putting me in a trance
Been at work since 9am, been on 4chan since 9am
Good work if you find the right gig
making 45k a year, with big4 on my resume

Seems kinda shit desu. If I wanted a stable job. I would be a credit analyst at a major bank. Also, lots of room to move up and hours aren't IB tier. Salary is also really good.
Would it be possible to organise a global run on the bank?

hello JPMorgan
we meet again

A lot of money to be made.
How should I market my transcription services?
I created a website for it. Its a simple Wordpress site so far but I will be buying a domain for it soon.
I have a testimonials page up with one quote so far. The other clients I asked still haven't gotten back to me with quotes but they seemed pleased with my work when I did it. I also may make up a few quotes here and there. People do that anyway, I'm sure so no harm done I guess but I want all the legit quotes up first. Is making up a couple quotes for my testimonials recommended or no?

Student loan debt crisis:
How are businesses and the government thinking about how to deal with student loan debt? It's at like 1.3 or 1.4 trillion now.
I think most people don't realize just how not paid back that shit's going to be in 30,40,50, or 100 years. It will have to be forgiven somehow or people won't be able to participate in the economy.
What do you all think? Is it a bubble that will burst, or is it less of a crisis than we're led to believe? Or is it a catastrophe brewing slowly?
>>1060064
World War 3 is coming soon son.
hope you been doing your crunches
You cannot effectively default on them. Additionally, there is no feedback loop like there was with the mortgage crisis.
Nothing will happen.
>>1060089
>You cannot effectively default on them
Why is this?
The US has never gone more than 9 years without having a recession.
Never
Id say that's a pretty good track record for balancing something so abstract.
Your mom has never gone more than 9 days without having a black dick in her mouth
>>1059674
That's a pretty good track record for balancing something so abstract.
Ask anything to a guy that is opening a bar in Prague with his best mate.
We rent the place for 40.000 CZK a month, we are both moving in there too so we don't have to pay our apartments, which saves us 20.000 CZK a month. That really gives us budget for marketing, and since we now only need to make 30.000 CZK a month to be positive, it is almost impossible to lose money. Ofcourse we want apartments, but for now it's the best option.
So, ask me anything.
do they still call them moscow mules over there
>>1058355
Haha, never served once of those.
Give me a codeword to drop to your bartender for a free /biz/raeli drink.
Product that you'd love to make,
but probably would not make any money.
I'd like to make a better glass vaporizer for DMT. Would not sell. It's a fringe drug even within the small psychedelic part of society.
Pretty much any toy that isn't Iron Man, Darth Vader, or flavor of the month anime. I'm still going to do it once I get out from under selling toys though. Fuck the market and its stupidity.
>>1061426
Also memetoys failed because they weren't even 5 PoA.
>>1061536
Your id is fun.
Are Bloomberg terminals worth getting? Why do people pay such ludicrous fees for them?
If you are an average bloke no
And it also depends on what kind of trading your doing.
The market does not need to be looked at all the time. Let it work for you, not the other way around.
Because you won't be able to get a price on something like a 2025 AMD 4.5 bond, it's call schedule, its dividend schedule, any accrued interest, seniority/subordinates, etc off google finance or your retail brokers website
>>1061345
Don't worry about them. I want you to give me the name of one person who got rich from technical analysis.
>See /biz/ shilling ETH like mad, figure eh, why not gamble
>Do some research on how to buy, need BTC
>OK.jpg sign up for coinbase wallet
>assloads of verification only to find out I have to wait 5 DAYS for my BTC to come through
>TFW ether is climbing and I'm missing out on sweet sweet gains
Why does this shit take so long? and is this a good thing since ETH will probably be at 20 cents by Monday?
credit card is instant on coinbase
>>1061295
Found that out after I had already put in an order for 100 through my bank. Also, instant limit is 25 bucks
MOON MOON MOON
Last chance
Anyone got plans to sell at a certain amount? I just hold. Sitting on 500 eth
>>1060879
Going to hold for a long time.
It's a perfect storm scenario.
>BTC got fucked by the developers and everyone who holds more than ten coins knows it and wants out
>Global stock market is a mess, there's no good sectors for investment
And then in steps Ethereum...
It'll be a wild ride - I'll hold on and sell at $1100.
>>1060894
>I'll hold on and sell at $1100.
>$1100
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.. small minds like you thinking they will get rich with this
/biz/ what are some good ways to advertise a local website? (In a big city)
Are Flyers and banners the only way? Relying on word of mouth seems ridiculously slow and unrealistic.
By ads in local blogs
I can't figure out how to make money, /biz/.
It seems like all I can do is work in my field and earn enough to survive, while still gathering debt along the way.
How do I actually do well and have my own business? It could literally be anything, I just want to have some control over my wealth. I'm not some retarded immigrant who has to work two jobs to make ends meet, yet that's the lifestyle I'm currently living.
Sell crystal balls on etsy.
Do they have to make it this so obvious? Kinda makes me scared to get a mortgage tbqh
>>1061395
>taking out a hundreds of thousands of dollars loan with interest to purchase an asset which at best tracks the cost of living
shiggy diggy
>From the year 1880 to 2012 the after inflation return for the average price of a home in the U.S. was a total of 23.25%. So in 132 years, again after accounting for inflation, the average price of a home went up only 0.16% per year! From 1880 to 2006 (the high point of the housing bubble) it was up a total of 96.18% or 0.54% per year.
