I was thinking about an idea that /biz/ could do to start a company.
I have no idea how to use IRC or any of that shit. but if someone wants to bring up the IRC channel, or some chat room where all the /biz/ nitches go to talk about business.
But anyone feel like doing a /biz/ company or something.
My idea would be a nonprofit sever farm, and webhosting.
clientele would be other grassroots non-profits, or hosting for mom and pop busienss or something.

Actually theyre terrible for this purpose, when you drill holes in them for the electric etc it ruins the integrity of that entire side of the container. They also don't heat correctly (OP'S picture was made by a freshman architect, the people on the top floors would be boiling in their own skin)

Well, I'm in a slightly more scientific major rather than a generic econ/management/accounting major. I didn't want to end up back in academia for the next 5 years doing a Ph.D or something, so I got interested in it due because it's observing companies and markets and making practical analysis and changes.
I think the ability to learn about real world interaction rather than just doing theories and textbook research is more appealing to me. An internship there is also a really strong piece of experience...

- You're more interested in business and practical application rather than academia and theory
- You want it to boost your resume
- You want to see if MC is for you
- You want a decent compensation
- You want to be able to work your way up

Unemployed my entire life.
Wanted a Job since I was 14, 20 soon.
Literally apply every day, go handing out resumes weekly, call people often. Nobody has ever given me a chance. Was sick for a while between 15-18 but fine now. Offering to do disgusting cleaning jobs and hard physical labour, nobody gives me a chance.

Is community college out of the question? It's understandable to not be in a 4 year university since it is pretty expensive, even with solid scholarships, but CC is often free if you apply to something like FAFSA if you're poor.
At most, you can get in some retail job and maybe promoted to manager if they don't require a degree (many do require at least a Associates)

My fed student loan accrued interest daily. That way if you pay it off a day before the 'interest application' date you wouldn't skip the year or the month you almost went through. Most loans work like this.
