Going to float around $30 until US prez inaugurated, then it will drop in half figuratively overnight, everyone blames new prez, even though they just started presidency and hasn't done anything, world ends up shitting itself and all dominos fall.
But I know nothing, don't take me seriously, I just think it would be great to see the world literally end because of the US

Planing on starting up a longterm investment portfolio. I know the market is pretty shitty right now, I might delay my actual entry into the market until things bottom out. But for the time being I have some questions to ask.
I plan on putting a portion of my paycheck into my investments,
Should I buy a larger sum of shares, one company at a time, gradually increasing the diversity of my portfolio as I put more money into my investment account. Or should I buy a smaller number of shares, multiple companies at a time, gradually increasing the quantity of my portfolio....

Fuck all that gay shit and buy ETH
Maybe just read a basic book about investing.
>>1085522
I was just hoping to get some quick answers to my questions.
Particularly this one
>Should I buy a larger sum of shares, one company at a time, gradually increasing the diversity of my portfolio as I put more money into my investment account. Or should I buy a smaller number of shares, multiple companies at a time, gradually increasing the quantity of my portfolio.
This shit is looking so stable right now.
All 3 spikes on this graph, i expected to see a sharp correction, but it stayed stable.
This shit really is going to the moon!

Hello /biz/, have a networking summit coming up.
Any tips, tricks or resources that may have worked for you?
What should / shouldn't I do? Words of advice?
Let's try to stay away from social media bullshit.
You're thrown into a room full of strangers, what do you do?
Introduce yourself and have a conversation?
Are you honestly this autistic?

Highly skilled programmer/software dev here. What can I make (other than a wallet app) that will both benefit ETH and get me some traffic? What does ETH need? Throw ideas at me.
I have a killer idea for a dapp and I just bought the perfect domain name for the website.
I need someone like you. How can we get in touch?
>>1085299
>What does ETH need?
It needs a shelf upon which to be placed alongside other failed experiments once the shills lose the wind in their sails and it inevitably loses or relevance.
>>1085299
A retard-proof wallet that would be as easy to use as PayPal.
I want to get into investing and making money off of business related ventures. I'm a 20 year old with only about 2000 dollars. I have some ideas on my own but what could I accomplish with 2 grand for making more money?

Invest in a good education and start making 2000 a week.
Is it profitable? I know YouTube is still not profitable after 10 years
but maybe Vimeo's freemium plan is a better business model.
With all the DMCA abuse happening at YouTube,
I see a lot of people express a want for a proper YouTube alternative.
If a few people with 100,000+ (and that's maybe 10,000 active subscribers) wanted to leave YouTube and joined the site,
I believe you could quickly grow a smaller community that could keep growing.
I am concerned about costs for video hosting and sharing though, and the post-process of said videos for different resolutions.
This service would in the beginning without doubt have a more poor service for video options.
>>1085136
extremly capital intensive and not profitable in most ways - plus profitability is going down due to adblock etc. its just used as a marketing tools these days.
I was watching a video on YT and I wonder if anyone knew the website on the pic. I can't for the life of me read the url.
The chart is showing GLD prices btw.

So, /biz/, I have a question for you.
I own a startup I've been working on over the past year. Me and my cofounder both do not have a business background, but we know several business people.
We're trying to figure out if we should take investment money. We're both only 19, so getting large sums is going to be almost impossible. Our main product is also almost entirely finished already, so we don't strictly need the money. In fact, we'd probably just spend most of it on insurance and advertising.
Is it better for us to just market...

I have connections to angel investors. I started and sold my own startup last year. What email can I reach you at? I know it sounds shady as fuck but I'm legit interested in this.

Why haven't you switched over, /biz/? Artificial intelligence has a better batting average than any human you have worked with.
http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2016-02-05/the-rich-are-already-using-robo-advisers-and-that-scares-banks
Also who designed these algorithms? I doubt Schwab has internal computer scientists.
It would be more fun and you'd be better off by using R with quantmod to get some ETF data and running a portfolio weighting optimization yourself.
'Cause that's free and advisory (robo or human) is not.

So I speculated on this card last week when it was sitting at 2.33, at it's lowest current value it's sitting at 8.50 I predicted 10.00 If you picked up a hundred of these last week you would have made 617 dollars from a 233 dollar investment

i don't expect to make money off the neckbeards when I go to the local shop to play every Friday night, I just budget off a certain amount of money as write it off as gone with no return in sight except the return of smiles and crushed skulls xD
>>1083256
Anon is right, stop fucking shilling, you also forget that shops will undercut you even if speculation is correct. if it rises to $10 shops will offer you $6-8 per each one, to truly make a profit like you said you would have to barter with fucking neck beards, and who wants to fucking interact with neckbeards.
>>1083766
>who wants to fucking interact with neckbeards.
You're doing it right now.
Ethereum will be bigger than bitcoin. Why are you still in denial?
Current price ~$3
>Ethereum market cap becomes equal to bitcoins
Expected price ~$75
Who cares?
How stupid would it be to invest 1k into this meme?
