What Is /biz/'s recommended reading list for a fresh high school graduate about to get a job that wants to make a living eventually through the stock market?
Read the fronts of 1 million $100 bills that belong to you, so that you can remember the time you had money!
Read "levi strauss" off the front of pants because blowjob joke
no but seriously read investopedia

Funny but not quite what I was looking for. I'm the kind of guy that goes all In, when I wanted to become a political scientist I read ten books on political ideology and countless more on society and government. I want something encompassing, I want to know what economics Is, the basics of It, some detail further than supply and demand, and what macro and micro economics are. I'm ready to go all the fuck In with this shit man. Lay down some starter literature. Investopedia seems great, but I don't think...

So I live in a pretty rich place, and its rich for miles and miles around. Recently some big news happened in my city. Girl goes missing, tons of money and effort expended to find her and she turns up and the family / police refuse to say what happened.
Now this drove me fucking crazy, so many of my friends were afraid for their kids and nobody is offering up an explanation. I said "i'll just call the family myself, I'll go ask family friends I'm GOING to get to the bottom of this for my own satisfaction".
Then I realized that there might...

I would add that the guy from the company said I shouldn't look too much into it because he's seen interviews he thinks went great result in nothing and interviews he thinks went horribly result in a job, but I'm not really sold.

I'm asking if anybody with experience with interviewers thinks I'm screwed or not.
How do you keep up with current business news and market news?
Anyone else addicted to Bloomberg?
I watch Surveillance, Go and With All Due Respect every day.
That's 6 hours of business/politics news every day.
I'm completely addicted to it.
Am I the only one?
Does anyone have any other free live streaming news that they watch instead? Help me get off the BloomJew train.

I have a cousin that's a stoner metalhead/goth/punk or something like that.
He claims to be an anarchist. I asked him what it is and heard the most ridiculous explanation ever:
>Everything is fair and square. For example, I'm good with electronics and you're good with guitars. I do you a favour, and you do me a favour. No money involved. No one is getting rich. Right now, it's unfair because whatever we're good at, Samsung is getting rich.
I tried explaining some basic economics, e.g. how would you value...

How hard is it to get away with faking a college degree?
I'm in my second year of college, but I know that I have access to better quality information for free online and at my local library.
I'm guessing it's extremely simple for an employer to check if you're BS'ing, but do they really do these checks? Don't most employers use college graduated from and the GPA to weed out potentials?
I really see little reason for paying out the ass for an education that I can receive for free at the local library, other than showing the...

Yes, they do those checks. In some states it's illegal to lie about your education status on a resume, in other states it's illegal to do so on job applications.
>>1088165
It's extremely easy to lie about education. Most non-stem degrees teach you next to nothing you couldn't pick up to a conversational level by browsing a subreddit on the topic or something. But its also so easy to check now that every employer that you would want to work for will check up on it, and they will fire and blackball when you get caught. Just do the fucking degree even though its a meme its something you have to do these days unless you are a code god or already made of money and connections.
My dads incapacitated in the hospital. He is living and but can not make decisions or talk and canbarely move. I have the same name as him but im the 4th. I have his wallet. With his ID. He is about to pass this week. Im not on his bank account and im not power of attorney there isnt enough time to get it either. Im wondering if i could go up to his bank and withdrawl the money with a withdrawl slip through the drive through or inside. Any advice? Im trying to get the money out before they take it when he dies for hospital bills he owes 2+ million.

The states estate lawyers will look at the account activity, especially with the money you are talking. So, no don't do it. However assuming there is no will you might be able to get a lawyer to do it all on the up and up. Be quick OP, while he lives the lawyer can still help you. Better be enough in that account to be worth it though.
Its only around 3,000..

Is there anything more soul crushing than failing tonnes of internship and graduate job interviews due to bad social skills and then graduating and working a near minimum wage menial job while living at home?
And I'm realising that people at workplaces really really fucking hate you if you're introverted. Even if you're part-time they really fucking hate you. If this happens at part-time jobs, how the hell could I possibly succeed in some white-collar, HR-Stacey-filled, posh-people-filled, management sucking up workplace? >inb4 go in to STEM. Many STEM...

You didn't realize the most important thing at all - you don't wanna succeed in there. Yes even in STEM. Succeeding means kissing a$$ left and right, ... ah you know I dont even wanna continue. It makes me sick just thinking about it. A good way to get a heart attack and nothing to show for it.
Think what youre good at, or polish your skills in the afterhours and open your own thing. It may be small at first, but great trees grow from well cared for trees.
