How about you start your own business and get rich instead of cleaning the floors

How does broaching the chinamen about currency manipulation look like, does the states have enough influence on them as trump asserts?
Assuming he does get them to play fair (read cheat less) is correcting this enough to get apple and other companies to start manufacting in the states? If that is not so, what additional would encourage them?
A significant tax on imported goods could encourage US manufacturing again, it would have to be a lot though, my guess would be in excess of 25%
The thing is though, a return to domestic manufacturing would not result in a huge number of American jobs, so there's not a lot of point
Apple would invest in six-axis robots (probably built in Germany) and automate the production line, hiring only a handful of staff to oversee it
very soon they will stop controlling their currency, and once it goes up, they'll be importing many things of real value from other countries, until they import so much their currency goes down again, and then they'll forget about paper money.
> currency manipulation
> play fair (read cheat less)
> implying usa doesn't do all that and more
How likely is it that a small producer of wares in the US would agree to supply a small inventory for my own webshop in Norway? I'm a neet without the VC needed but the business idea is tried and tested by a relative that had to quit because of health issues, and ofcourse he sold off his inventory instead of letting me take over running things. The website design is all good (salvaged from his backup & updated) and I'm just waiting to get things up and running again. I was thinking of asking to arrange a dropshipping deal but the freight cost would make small orders...

TL;DR dropshipping too expensive, how to fill inventory without VC. Need a supply in advance of payment, but that requires trust.

I can buy milk and bread with fiat.

Twitter now has a "safety council" with people like Anita Sarkeesian on it to police tweets.
Are they going to make money doing this? I think no, but I also though ipads wouldn't sell.

>>1102471
no, but they will make money on their investments. have you seen their balance sheet?
>>1102598
No, but I see their implementing a video tweet system. Might steal some of the tumblr vanity whores or even work with the general population.
I'm really not sure which would be the better option. Pander to the sjw crowd who never shut the fuck up or the free speech crowd who likely don't really bother much with twitter at all anyways. Either way seems like they lose potential user base but sjw's seem like the more active users. The main problem with placating them is it can't be done, you...

I dunno. I'll probably still not use twitter, because I don't really like being tracked online any more than my usage of the internet allows me to be as it is.
Which book makes the best factual arguments for capitalism? I am already sold on the ethical and philosophical arguments for the free-market such as personal liberty, the dangers of a large government, the immorality of progressive taxes etc. but now I want to venture into factual and historical proof of capitalism's efficiency. Capitalism and Freedom by Friedman and Basic Economics by Sowell don't have enough factual evidence for me.
>>1102026
Does this have charts, graphs, diagrams, numbers etc?
>>1102013
>I am already sold on the ethical and philosophical arguments for the free-market
lol
Did you even consider the capitalist arguments against the free market? Probably not.
Are "haunted" houses cheaper? Are they a good investment?

Are you five?
There's zero scientific evidence that ghosts exist.
The best you can do is turn the house into a "Haunted House" maze every Halloween.

I would guess they would be more expensive and no.

I am Taking general ed courses at a community college in Tennessee and in my English course they are having is all write 6 pages papers on how #blacklivesmatter is important for equality in today's society.
I really just want to drop out, fuck this place. I just moved here from Chicago and its actually not much better. I would totally drop out if I knew I wouldn't be working a dead end walmart job. I just want to make money for my future family

What is the best long term security? What's most resistant to inflation? I want to retire young as hell and when I start my career I want to save and penny pinch like crazy for the first 3 or so years. How can I effectively match say for simplicity's sake a $60,000/salary in securities? I really only don't know much about securities other than stocks so other than dividends and reinvesting and diversify I'm ignorant on other strategies.

Just take some risks while you are young and see how it works out. Geez

I'm debating whether or not to begin selling illicit substances to fund my way through community.

>>1103595
Not worth the trouble/risk.
The highest profit margins will be things with high addictive potential, which are thereby difficult to obtain and liable to draw attention from both criminals (who will fuck your shit up) and law enforcement (ditto). The amount of work it takes to safely carry out this sort of operation is such that you might as well get a normal job, unless you happen to have amazing sources and a strong social network.
Seen a lot of people try this and not many make it.
>>1103595
you probably don't have the experience dealing with druggies to pull it off, if any of them get caught doing drugs they will rat you out in an out of court settlement to get a reduced sentance
I've been in your position and I'll try to give you advice.
I recently quit dealing because I only needed to save for an apartment and cover tuition while my regular job covered my expenses and bills. If you're not experienced with drugs, it's probably not a good idea. I didn't even like the term "dealing," and unless you're moving significant volumes, it's not really worth the hassle of driving, scaling, waiting, etc. Since I'm not that intimidating, I stuck to only dealing with friends. But even this has it's own...

Is being rich the greatest thing in the world? If you lose something, you can just easily replace it with money. You can buy any girls you want, or go to a place where no one would disturb you.
I lost my iPhone due to my carelessness, and it took me 9 months to save for that thing.
Be rich
Drive in fast expensive car

I want to get into the soda business
I have made my own soda out of natural and simple ingredients
It has as much caffeine as a cup of coffee
It doesn't fuck you up like energy drinks and isn't bitter like coffee
I need a way of promoting my stuff to my college classmates
I was thinking I could set up a booth and hand out 100 sodas for free during midterms
Build a good first impression and maybe respect
Mr wrigley handed out gum to everyone that was listed in a phone book
as a result people were loyal to him and bought wrigley gum
they even...
