do you have free trades or what? I wouldn't even consider making a trade of less than $1000
>>1108867
fuck you nigger, i'm poor atm.
if i finish a welding apprenticeship at 19 and make the right investments, could i realistically be a millionaire before i'm 30?
>>1111832
Yeah but it involves ruining your 20s with lots of overtime.
>>1111837
This.
It would mean working 80hrs a week, and living out of a shoebox and eating beans every night.
TOTALLY WORTH IT.
>>1111832
Assuming you mean 1 million dollars, yes.
However, 1 million dollars is not enough to live on for the rest of your life at 30 anon, so there's no real point in half-killing yourself to hit that by that arbitrary date. Just put away a more reasonable amount and retire when you're 45.
Are you idiots even paying attention?
hurr durr just another shitcoin durrrrr
Just another shitcoin
>>1111647
Looks like another shitcoin to me

get a comfy white collar job in a forever field like finance or law or medicine or set yourself up for management and consulting
Playing the bullshit is the only answer. Only a moron thinks that modern politicians can fix issues like this without massive consequences.

We hope Kim Jong Un actually grows some balls and JUST DOES IT
Greetings, if you guys would have listened to me a few months ago when I said to buy up .xyz domains, you too would have a small fortune by now.
China is going to ban .com so to speak very soon, don't believe me? You will see after March 1st, more like by the end of March.
Chinese have been buying up new extensions that are licensed and soon to be licensed there. Extensions like .top, .xyz. wang. Look at the number of registrations and where they are coming from in the last few months, mostly Chinese.
Basically the bitcoin for the chinese are domain names,...

So where does the money come? How am I gonna get rich? Well, Chinese buy number .coms for thousands of dollars, premiums for tens of thousands. It is no different with .xyz, albeit it is cheaper now but not for too long, it's growing faster than .com ever did.
Current XYZ's sold within the past month.
9.xyz = $170,250
yy.xyz = $37,500
22.xyz = $25,800
zz.xyz = $17,100
pz.xyz = $8,100
118.xyz = $7,500
xxx.xyz = $6,450
premium keyword names sold,, that were bought...

Considering Chinese investors continue to offer me $40k to $60k for my LLL.com's, I think you're full of shit.
>>1111763
>I think you're full of shit.
How is anything I said bullshit?
I never said anything about LLL.com's, nice try though. You need to face the facts that new gtlds will continue to grow, and it will continue to hurt .com prices. Especially since thedomains.com just recently sold their entire portfolio to Godaddy. Dot com investors are so pissed that they bitched to west.cn to stop promoting non .com domains, .XYZ especially.
You can read about that incident...

Been searching for a new entry level job for the past six months while currently employed in what essentially feels like purgatory. My experience so far:
>find perfect jobs that would would make a great jumping off point, literal monkey work
>expect 3+ years of experience in a previous mid level position, while the job itself is junior level
>continue with application
>spend an hour filling out an experience form, despite my experience being clearly...

no one needs turbospergs with no skills to fill their job positions when there are plenty of skilled people out of work
>>1111360
I'm on the same boat.
I have no experience; I'm dumb, ugly and have no social skills.
How the fuck can you even succeed when you either need 3-5 years of experience or a bachelors and usually they require both.
Are there even any jobs with LIVABLE wages for people with no exp or degree that isnt completely inaccessible to the majority of the public ? Does anyone know where to search for these so called jobs and how to get your dick in the door without having a relationship with the employer. Fuck...

Being a "Life Coach" seems like it would be the ultimate "fake it" and profit scheme. Any ideas, given the need for *credentials* and such?

did it require a full book to make this point?
like most books, no it didnt. but someone with an ego as big as Talebs cant go around publishing pamphlets you know?
>>1111278
ya that's kind of what I thought. I was listening to dao of capital recently and it has some interesting anecdotes but if you're not interested it's like pure filler
>>1111271
Totally agree OP. Taleb needed an entire book to satisfy his urge to appear poopysmart (as he is, btw). I have stopped reading non-fiction integrally altogether I just skip to the point. Anyone agree?
Lots of samefags changing IDs shilling ETH, so take notes.
TC(ness) is not required for BTC and would very likely lead to unforeseen problems and instability (mostly related to the halting problem). Money isn't a computer.
They address halting by fee paying for interpreter cycles. When the fee runs out the contract is stopped.
But there are obviously interpreter escape dangers, which are harder to contain for a stateful, looping, low level (byte code like) language. Look at the history of java sandbox escapes. People say that was mostly due to call outs to...

TC = Turin Complete btw. It's one of the selling points by shills, yet they are low IQ enough to not understand that trying to create a bulletproof way to store your money under a TC machine is a fucking disaster, that's why ETH will have some niche usages for complex smart contracts, and that's all. Stop hoping for quote unquote Bitcoin 2.0, it's not gonna happen.
Bitcoin Script is strong enough to cover most cases of smart contracts, and sidechains are a redpill that most ETH bagholders...

Run a business?

Going out of business?
Share your business!

I'm think about starting a resell business. Was going to go with eBay but a lot of sellers who once recommended it are saying it isn't really worth it now. Made pretty good cash flipping shit on Craigslist.
>>1110154
I've heard it's kind of shit now. Just picked up a couple server racks that go for 2400 new for 400. Gonna use craigslist most likely. Ultimately I don't care if it makes me money because I made a great business contact who happened to be at that location at that time. Place was pretty cool too, big movie theater that shut down.
>>1110144
For anyone curious on where to start with creating a legit business, look into llc vs s corp.

Going to try reposting this since the last one didnt get too much attention.
So I have been considering a career selling medical equipment to hospitals.
I have a "salesperson" type personality and was planning on going into high end real estate, but this seems more profitable. Is there anyone here that has/had this career and can testify on it?
What kind of schooling did you need?
Was it just the regular sales/marketing/whatever or did you need medical courses as well?
My dad worked in healthcare sales his entire life. He majored in biology, and worked at a hospital where he ended up teaching staff how to use computers when they began to be implemented. Got hired with SMS who was eventually bought out by Siemens. Worked for Siemens until he retired. He did medical billing software and support. Nursing with sales experience will get you far. He averaged around 80k + commission.
>>1108284
Do you know if it's required or if they'll still hire you even if you went to school for business? because that's what I'm currently going for. How was his commission? I get that it's sales and it all depends but like on average how did he do?
just dont let any homeless people steal your equipment and dont have a faggy son and your good to go
