What is the best business major to go into?
I was thinking finance but I'm not sure.
Business specifically? You want information systems or supply chain logistics.
>>1113064
nice meme
Depends on your interests anon...
I would do Finance and Accounting double major (this is god-tier if you go to a good school and want to work in the finance sector or open your own business).
Mathematics, Engineering, and CS is viable for working in finance too.
Information systems & supply chain logistics is bound to make you a cuck-tier wageslave (maxing out at low six figures).
Finance + cs
So as you may or may not know, Colorado has been inundated with transplanted people since the beginning of 2014. As a result, the housing/rental market is wildly inflated. Can any COfags (or anyone I guess) bring insight into what kind of event would precipitate a housing market crash or people leaving in droves? I just want to know the likelyhood of people fucking off to whence they came.
>>1113030
Realistically? Nothing. There's an overpopulation problem in the country so where they going to go? Back to Cali? Hah, its even worse there. Michigan or another cheap state like Kentucky? Sure... if you want to be unemployed.
Short of a flat out depression, its fucked permanently.
>>1113030
>wildly inflated
>not just high demand because of weed fags
Cmon senpai.
>>1113045
Fuck.
>Have a project of casual, simple turn based video game
>Already done, although probably there might be some bugs (there always are)
>Want to get profit from it
What are the first steps here? I'm thinking about hosting it, making a little contest for new players with some little award to attract their attention (around 50 euro), then if everything goes okay, putting some ads there.
What are your advices?
>>1112160
I'd look into a platform to market it first of all. Most big name companies like apple and steam take a 30% fee from your game per purchase, and requires a one time payment for a green light licenses.
>>1112170
Ah, yea, forgot to add it's a browser game - it's changing a lot I guess.
Sorry for that, I'm kinda sleepy - in last 2 days I have slept less than 7 hours.
>>1112160
>a little contest for new players with some little award to attract their attention (around 50 euro),
probably highly illegal.
but anyway, is it a pc/web game, or what?
Hey guys, wage slave here with a quick question. If I knew a bunch of people who needed websites built and i knew a few people who are skilled at building websites, could i possibly make money off of that?
>>1112007
Just make sure they'll never get in contact with eachother and that you will always be the middleman.
>>1112026
Exactly. Tell the people who need a website that you're skilled in making websites and you can make them one. Once you get an agreement you tell your other friends that you will pay them $X amount (25-50% of what you're getting, or less if you're a jew) to build a decent website.
You're friends who know how to build sites will ask why you need such a site, just say it's for your uncle or something.
>>1112007
Fullstack web dev here,
>>1112515
Is okish, but not in the long run, maybe 2-3 clients and you will fail at some point.
Your best choice is, do whatever you like, but while doing so, start learning how to make websites yourself and try to work with the said ppl, eventually you will have few clients and can form small company with your friends that can make sites or something, thats what I did 7 years ago, sometimes I work just alone, but mainly on small/private/own...

So /biz/ what would you do?
>>1111248
I'm interested in this too.
just invest in stocks, $1000 isnt that much
>>1111259
I know nothing about stocks.
Capitalism made America great, not Socialism.
>>1104741
capitalism is a double edged sword my friend.
see the 1940s & 2008
>>1104741
socialism can work but only when the society is homogeneous
see: 50's argentina, the scandi countries, germany pre WW1
>>1104741
What made America great was unity and nationalism.
Not people giving away our jobs and charitable organizations going to OTHER countries when we have poor here.
Gist of the story is I need to decide where to live after buying a new property.
>currently own a house in the suburbs, have 2 tenants and my fiance living with me
>fiance lives rent free, i even cover his utilities
>tenants are driving me fucking insane, messy, hog the tv etc
>currently in the process of buying a second property in the city
>would put me within walking distance to work (currently is a 1.5 hour commute...

where do i find a grill that lets me live for free with her and covers the bills to boot?
are you a cougar?
You're buying a second house when you cover your fiancee's living expenses? And HE's bitching because it'll put him further away from university?
Are you starting to see what the real problem is?
>>1112942
Nope, 23. Business grad, got inheritance and I've managed it really well. Also have my own career and I make a tidy sum from that too.
>>1112943
He's not bitching per say and I only let him get away with not paying because he does my share of the housework, all of the gardening and the maintenance jobs on the house
How do I turn 100 dollars into 1,000-10,000?

I have no work visa for 6 months. What can I do to gain income for the time being?
>>1112583
camp out in front of home depot in the morning
>>1112693
To add to that, I suggest approaching luxury cars or SUVs. People driving those people tend to have more disposable income, and as such, are more likely to pay top dollar for getting their dick sucked.
>>1112583
Mug strangers
How can I achieve this?
you will come off precisely as douchey as the media makes you be
>>1112542
But how do I become an awesome pharmaceutical entrepeneur?
>>1112502
Easy you stop buying into the bullshit that media spews and do your own damn research. If you want to succeed you actually have to put work into it. Hell this guy is like what a billionaire? And this kid is still learning from college textbooks just to get a better understanding of the business hes in. Hes rich because he learns on his own time to improve himself, not trying to model himself after others because they are the newest hot topic.

Is there any way to take a loan from someone for 1-2% monthly interest rate?
I can easily pay that back and also earn a little money from it with almost no risk. Would accept taking money via paypal and could pay the interest monthly.
>>1112328
>Boy, I wish there was some sort of place a person could go and just take out loans.
>A place that was an expert at assessing risk and administering financial transactions.
>Not some kind of sketchy online handshake transaction with a random loser
>Kill yourself
>>1112355
Excuse you mr negativity, if some random rich anon wants to fund my entrepreneurial dreams at the cost of a low interest loan then let them. Banks may not be the best route for this anon. You are probably that person at a convention in the back of the room glaring at everyone else talking and networking. Getting angry at people over your missed opportunities, everyone knows about banks so your 2 cent opinion just turned to shit. Instead of telling him to go kill himself perhaps point him to local businesses groups...

How do I get enough money to become a superhero?
>>1111884
They both inherited their wealth.
Commit crimes therefore increasing the need to reduce crime and that is where you have a platform to stand on to win the hearts and minds of the people. Also when you stop committing all of the crimes you will be deemed successful in stopping crime. Works every time.

you don't need money just do this routine everyday (without skipping a day):
>100 push-ups
>100 sit-ups
>100 squats
> Run 10k
And you're on your way to one punching everyone
I just got a software dev internship position that pays a nice 53 grand a year. That's a big raise over my current ~10 grand a year I get from working my part-time warehouse job.
Problem is, I don't know what to do with that extra cash. Can anyone link me to a good resource or recommend books on how to save for a newb like me?

Hello /biz/,
so I'm planning on creating a fashion product that uses images of copyright work. Without revealing too much, I'll use DBZ as an example.
How are businesses legally allowed to sell Dragon Ball Z merchandise without receiving a licenses or approval to do so from it's content creators? Would incorporating the cartoon's images on a t-shirt constitute fair use?
Anyone with experience regarding copyright law or a similar scenario?
Bump
Anyone? :(
>>1111512
I've been curious about this too. I know sports teams are a big no but I see shit like bands and cartoons on shirts for sale online a lot.
>>1111578
I'm starting to think that it constitutes fair use because its sufficiently transformative from it's original medium.
