do people get naturally smarter even after the age of 20 or are most jobs just really non cognitively demanding? You get prime ministers who never went to university. Not that I think less of them due to that in terms of intelligence, but it adds to my suspicion that any reasonably intelligent person could do, or learn to do, pretty much most jobs - except the really technical ones which are, ironically enough, shittily paid.

There is a chart floating around with IQs and what jobs you can get with them. I think it was around 125 where virtually everything is open to you. Even 110 was pretty widespread, easily enough to make it in the business world.

I don't. I have an IQ of 143 and and I'm utterly useless with technology. The reason I have such a high score is the way I process words, and apparently the fact that I can see beyond 'known facts'.
I truly think there are different forms of intelligence and that intelligence in general is more nuanced then what an IQ test can reveal. It is a good indicator of certain things, though.

yo /biz/ so I want to get a job as a server, but as an unattractive male this is quite difficult without experience. So what lies should I put on my resume? Should I just list that I worked as a server previously? I could give a fake reference too.

There's zero value to your resume at this level. either get the experience or go personally convince a manager/supervisor to give you training/work. if you're autistic just volunteer at 10 places every month and you have an A++ resume next year. I used to work night shift job where you need to work ~45hrs/week, working woth chemicals and got payed around 450€/month. (After tax) so around 5400€/yr. And in my country thats not that bad.

I work in shipping ports moving cargo. Pic related is a typical week for me. I feel I'm neither over or underpaid. I work under a collective bargaining and I feel like we have a good contract right now.
Most people in this country are underpaid and think people like me are overpaid cause they've been conned.
What is my best path to get an easy and decent paying job? Like around 50k would be enough. I am just planning on living at my parents so I can save save all my money for cool vacations and a sports car. He accomplished what he set out to do: reestablish Russia as a global superpower. Washington and the EU have zero credibility now in grandstanding Russia towards western goals. There was never any intent to get bogged down Afghanistan-style. Also, no Qatar/EU pipeline anytime soon. So if you are looking longterm, the main beneficiary of all this may be liquid natural gas exporters in America and Australia. EU will have to look for ways to untie themselves from Russia while maintaining strict energy rules adapted to combat global hoaxing. They need natural gas and lots of it....

Hey /biz/ I've often thought of the idea of opening a toy store where I live, do you guys think one can make a decent profit running a toy business? I've worked at a toy store before and the key to making profit is literally in like 4-5 toys (LEGO, Pokemon, Paw Patrol, Shopkins, Tomas the train, Boardgames ect.). Have a store carrying that type of stuff and then carrying nick nack toys like those sticky hands, cup in ball, tech decks and I don't see how you wouldn't be successful. Obviously the challenge is in getting suppliers and having them supply you...

I interviewed with the local branch of Morgan Stanley Thursday and did well, so they invited me to the final interview which involves "Networking Breakfast followed by two one-on-one interviews and participation in a group activity".
Is anyone familiar with Morgan's hiring practices and whether this is actually part of the selection process or basically making sure the one guy who interviewed me didn't make a mistake? If I've made it this far, do you think my chances are better than 50% to get the position?
