Best low-cost or free solutions for Forex or Options trading?
I'm just barely getting started with Forex and my current plan is to put small amounts of money into long trades (Roughly $50-100 into an account per week until I hit a good sized amount of money). What would be the best low or free option? I have heard about Oanda but they seem to jew you on spread and every single review site I have seen seems to be about pushing the dizzying amount of trading platforms.
My options broker is a little bit different. I am going to wait until I have about 4-5000...

Clarify what you mean by backend. It's a very specific definition, and what you've just said sounds like you have an idea of how to program and use intuitive, platform specific IDE's or development kits. Without being rude, I'm not sure you really know what you're talking about, and to be honest, what you've described isn't useful in itself, as Indians and development suites usable by laypeople already do the job of web developing.
If you actually do know how to do actual back end stuff (servers, sysadmin stuff, Javascript and js libraries...

I build my own shit to sell, but I sell on Etsy. Amazon/Ebay are the Wal-Mart/Kmart, respectively, of online shopping. Selling stuff to poor people is too much of a headache.

Do landscaping over the summer. Work until you have 10-20 thousand. Learn to invest afterwards and open a Questrade account (if Canadian, open a TFSA--that way you pay no taxes up to a certain limit). Start investing in stocks that you think will do well, but only invest in stocks you've done a lot of research on. Once you have a good portfolio, get back to work and check it periodically. When you do, add more money into the stock market every now and then, with some stocks in gold as a hedge against market crashes....
