What classes teach basics of investing and trading in college or where can I learn the ins and outs of the stock market? I want to do some active investing for spare money in college but I don't know where to start.

If you ever become a billionaire /biz/ don't fly private in single engine turboprop.
It's like the number one cause of deaths of billionaire families.
>>1154231
It does actually surprise me how often they are killed off by small shitty planes, you'd think they would fly everywhere in private jets or fully kitted out helicopters
>>1154235
Planes are crazy expensive. It costs $100k for a super shitty used Cessna.
>>1154235
Any source on what plane was it?

Does anyone have any experience with automated trading?
Is Super Simple Bot legit? Are there any better alternatives?
If it worked why would they sell it?
>>1154107
...for profit? It's not like they can't use it anymore if they sell it
>>1154120
Why would they even need to sell it tho, that just signals off it's bullshit.

I make about 16% on average a day now with my own bots on c-cex and poloniex so my friends and work mates are giving me money to put in for them.
I grantee their original money back but i get to keep 50% of the profit. Biggest amount one gave me was 400 euro.
They're now telling their friends, do you need a licence to do this in an EU country or am i OK?
It feels like I'm fucking something up but I don't know how.
>>1153862
Those exchanges are unregulated, all you need is the capital to trade. Not sure about EU law but since most bitcoin trading in the US happens via bank transfer (coinbase, circle, etc.), you'd have to declare the income on your taxes.
>>1153862
How do you interface a bot with buy and sell orders on these websites like Poloniex?
It's a bit sketchy if you're accepting other people's money. I think you need to be registered as an investment company of some sort to do that.

Will there be a massive depopulation? Or some type of welfare system?
What are your predictions /biz/?
now: you need to go to college so you can get a job and make money!
the future: you need to get a robot so it can get a job and make money!
Unemployment rises along with crime rate.
Universities get flooded and being an engineer/doctor is the bare minimum to make a living wage and no longer prestigious.
>>1153851
old video but it speaks the truth, somewhat. Well we either gonna have some "24h @ home" welfare - which is highly unlikely some people say OR people will be limited to 1 baby until only super rich who own the AI robots will survive, because monopoly- only 1 true winner.
So, yeah it's a shitstorm out there and sadly its only getting bigger.
Is playing poker for an income still a valuable option in 2016?

not as good as a decade ago when you could easily crush everyone lol but if you're good at it it's pretty nice since it's tax free on pokerstars

Ok /biz/ so I just got an interview at Costco. I would make $15 to push carts and after a few years I could make $25 per hour. It really is a fucking awesome job.
The problem is I am really nervous about the interview and don't want to mess it up. What should I do to prepare for the interview and what questions are usually asked. What should I say when they ask why I want to work at costco? Its about the money but I probably shouldn't say that right?
Anybody here ever worked at costco before? Thanks!
>>1153767
The single most important thing you can do for a job interview is have questions for them as well.
>>1153767
There are really only three things you need to do to ace any interview ever.
1.) Dress professional. For a retail position, you don't need to go all out with a suit, but wear ironed pants and a button down shirt with a matching tie. It not only shows them that you care enough to look good to get the position, but I find it helps myself as well where the better I dress, the more focused I am and helps to get myself in the right state of mind.
2.) Know as much as you can about the company, and about...

scottrade, but theyre really expensive.
Etrade is good once u get the reduced commission fee

use 1broker tds or ameritrade think or swim
Those are the two best, 1broker has slightly lower fees but I prefer think or swim.

If you had $15,000-$20,000 to invest and you wanted to buy some s&p ETFs and you knew you wouldn't be able to contribute regular amounts after that money ran out, how would you do it?
Should I buy slowly or quickly? It's my understanding that it's best to buy often and smaller than lumpsum and infrequently due to compounding but also not buy too low that trading fees rape you.
So how should I do this? $1000/month for 15 months? $1500/month for 10 months?
BALLS TO THE WALL $2500/month for 6 months?
Well?

No you dumb shit. $3,600 is not a lot. 7 years of shit credit & a permanent mark this young isn't worth it.
no that's working one day a week money.
call your creditors and set up a payment plan.
