is there any future left for cryptocurrency? with the 11x algorithm and all.
What are your thoughts on anti ASIC algos?
do you think a profit can be made?
What needs to be built in is anti shilling, anti pump&dump algos.
Then it might have a future.

have you heard of pepecoin?
>>1156544
When it does happen, it will be called LegitCoin, and it will revolutionize everything.
Inhertiancefag here. How do I find motivation to make something of myself?
Go ahead. Don't. Enjoy your empty life devoid of meaning that you numb yourself to with drugs and whores.
>>1155890
sounds pretty good to me. throw in some shrooms and four or five good friends and you've nailed the secret to happiness
>>1155882
Eventually, you'll be so bored that you will either end your life or make something of yourself. Godspeed, anon!
Told you about RADS yesterday and I'll say it again today; the RADS train is leaving the station.
Get some while they're still dirt cheap. Huge volume every day for past weeks (around $100k every day) and a total mktcap of around a million.

Thoughts on this guy /biz/?
I am torn. One one hand:
>He gives full retard advice on finance to plebs.
>thinks credit cards and debt are the devil
>Will bad mouth any kind of investment that cant be understood by third graders
On the other hand:
>Helps retarded people get out of debt
>you will never go into debt following his plans
>explains things very simply and always promotes...

I feel like he is opposite of pay day loans
Pay day loans are almost always a terrible idea, but need to exist for specific people and circumstances. SHOULD BE AVOIDED IF RETARDED.
He gives advice that is almost always inefficient, but broadly it wont hurt you. SHOULD ONLY BE FOLLOWED IF RETARDED.
>>1154907
What's some of his retarded advice?
Also credit cards and debt are the devil.

Who's ready for a 10% jump at opening for DWTI tomorrow? Loaded up on Friday. The oil rally is over, time to load up on the inverse.

>>1153692

isnt OPEC supposed to be making an announcement in the next day about production targets? That could fuck up shorts if they restrict production.
He's back. The bankruptcies will now begin.

"Papa now takes the help at Silver Run Acquisition, which is a "blank check" company, or SPAC -- a special-purpose acquisition corporation. What that means is that Silver Run has raised cash for the specific purposes of making yet-to-be-identified acquisitions.
Getting an IPO done this year is impressive. Year to date, there have been five IPOs in 2016 at this point, versus 22 last year.Getting an IPO done in the energy sector is considerably more impressive.
That speaks to the respect...

Jeff Skilling spun him off. That was before Jeff went to jail.
Sold EOG for $400 million because Jeff needed cash fast. Then oil went from $30 to $150.
Jeff Skilling was supposed to be smart. Turns out Mr. Papa was the smart one.
Backstory, please? This sounds interesting and potentially profitable
Took loan out on my 401k on a job I might lose in the next couple of months.
Loan amount : 10k
Credit card Debt: 10k.
How stupid am I /biz/?
>>1157528
>taking loans
its like you want to stay in the rat race
>>1157535
my credit won't go to shit though, I pay off my credit card debt and shred them forever. If my job doesn't get outsourced I keep my job and repay my loan.
>>1157538
why the fuck did you spend 20k of money that wasn't yours
What is the /biz/ choice of drugs?
I know adderall and modafinil are popular here but what about just for fun?
Personally I've tried some Opiates(percocet mainly) and it's much better than weed desu. Way nicer and longer high and it's a lot cheaper relative to length of high.
What about you /biz/?
Usually a modafinil man. Although customs has become a fucking bitch in my area.
>>1157284
Stay away from drugs
>>1157284
The best drug is the high I get from a successful penny stock, don't spend money on drugs, put it in the stock market.
So I'm totally new to trading/investing,
I have about 100 bucks, and accounts at kracken, poloniex, and the robinhood app.
What do? any tips? should I be in the real markets, or take my money to BTC or ETH when the prices drop?
>>1156765
You should educate yourself before you waste time and money on stupid shit.
>>1156765
buy ethereum.
>>1156818
Figured I'll wait for the price to go back down because it's a boom right now
Is daytrading essentially gambling?
>>1156508
It _is_ gambling.
Isn't it rigged to be impossible since you would need scripts/bots to sell and buy at the fastest speeds?
For the most part, yes. every trade you make has a 50/50 shot to make or lose you money (unless there is some news event that has an obvious sentiment; like the fed's decision not to raise rates, this was obviously bullish). The only thing you can control is how much you make when you're right and how much you lose when you're wrong through stops and profit targets.
the aim of the game is to make more when you're right than what you lose when you're wrong.
good luck
why even bother making money past 90k a year in the US.
> 28% federal tax
> 9% state tax (california)
> 2% + 2% medicare and social security
you're losing 40% of your income at that point.
every time i calculate the opportunity cost of getting my JD or MBA it just isn't worth it
im just going to ride or die my 80k starting salary as CS
>>1156456
Huh? Because it's still more money. My friends who make 140k live far better than me at 75k, I'm barely median income considering my wife doesn't work. what is wrong with you?
>>1156459
>wife doesn't work
you seem to be lost. this isn't a cuck board.
>>1156456
Most companies don't pay anywhere near that much.
If you actually pay the full amount of tax then you deserve to lose your money.

Hey /biz/, I fucked up
I was contacted recently via email about a travel coordinator job, and stupidly I agreed to sign on. All I did was type my name into a PDF document (a "contract," but it had no legal binding), and now I am unable to get out of the arrangement. The scam involves the "company" mailing you hot checks that you're supposed to cash and send back a portion of, the bit that you keep being your "income."
This scammer has no personal information of mine besides my name and address (which they received from a resume...

Online signatures matter, writing your name on a .pdf does not.
Enjoy being sent free toilet paper.

Thank you so much, this cleared my head a lot.
He just replied with a really nasty email, but I'm assuming everything is alright.
>>1155395
While the e-mail is most likely a bluff using guilt manipulation strategies, there are some dangers of having your full name and address exposed, e.g. doxxing variations if someone is particularly vengeful. Unlikely, but bear it in mind. Meanwhile,
