Ok, put up my Blazer 1994 w/ 200K+ miles for sale on craigslist.
Beforehand I txted buyers the typical shit. Underbody was very rusty, carpet showing, holes exposed but not all the way through, rust on frame. So we finally meet up guys checking it out, pops hood, revs motor, checks radiator fluid, etc tire kicking shit.
Guy get on his back literally laying under vehicle, checks rust and mounts, pokes at floor under, rust falls. Guys bitch wife even says to stop poking at it. I say "yea the underbody is rusty like I said, should be fine though. Frame seems solid but...

Depends on your local laws. In my state lemon laws apply to dealers only. Private sales are just that. Private transactions with little to no laws governing them and certainly no expectation of warranty by the seller unless noted. No different from buying a house. It's on the BUYER to get it inspected.
Unless you specifically stated in a bill of sale it came with a warranty or claimed it was mechanically sound, you're fine.
On the court part I can tell you from personal experience; the less you say,...

Of course you're covered you tard. There is literally nothing they can do.
Pretty sure all private vehicle sales in the US are as-is. Even if you DID lie about the condition I don't think there is anything they can do.
Hi /biz/, for a long time now I have been working on a trading system which utilizes webscrapping stock prices at up to 1-sec timeframe and implemented a lot since then in R and Python. Still I would like to keep an eye on all the code and programs running and possibly the automated trades the system is executing. I would like to have 3-4 monitors with minimum Full-HD resolution in portrait mode.
I know I need a lot of CPU-power and memory for running R and Python multiple times at high-frequency, all the machines I would like to buy (up to $2k budget just for the machine)...

any expert gambler making money of it here ? share your stories of succeses and losses and if you feel like it share tips.
i've lost a significant amount of money on mainly sports bets but other games too, over the past few months, nothing vital but i have to admit it feels kinda uncomfortable and i'd like to win it back.

Stay off, OP.
yeah I've been down that road.
the casino always wins.
I'm no professional, but every time I go to vegas I make a few hundred dollars, maybe I'm just on a lucky streak, but my method isn't that random (seemingly)
So I study SCM, supply Chain Management. Which nis Business and Logistics. I also work as a forklift driver at a warehouse.
Summer is approaching, and lots of my classmates are getting real SCM jobs for the summer. Things like purchasing manager, and inventory accounting et c.
But I seem to learn a lot that the higher ups don't know by being in the bottom. Things my textbooks don't say, I see opportunities here.
What is the best investment of my Summer? Keep learning at the bottom, and work upwards after getting my degree. Or start up in management...

Bump cause I'm in the same boat
Anyone?
Okay, the point of an internship isn't to learn stuff. The point is to get connections in the industry and have a sexy line on your resume.
If you were a hiring manager would you hire "forklift operator" to run your supply chain?
No way.
What if his resume said "Intern-global supply chain, procurement division, Fortune 500 company".
Now we're talking.
Imagine one candidate has a letter of recommendation from the VP of logistics, and the other has a recommendation from Mike, the day shift forklift guy.
One...

Reminder that Bitcoin is the only way to hedge against the post-cash dystopia we are inevitably approaching.
6 billion marketcap, trillions of long term potential.
Reminder that all altcoins are is just pump and dumps to get BTC off casual hands.
Buy BTC now, we'll meet in 3 months.
Legit.

Why would I want to hedge against a cashless society? We are already almost there anyways. I barely ever use cash as it is. What would be the point of me buying a volatile shitcoin again?
Now that contactless payment is available on most debit cards most people won't give a fuck about BTC.
Hi guys,
I've decided that jobs aren't for me. Bosses can go fuck themselves. I can no longer lick someone's boots in the hope for a promotion. I quit my job a few months ago to take a break. I now want to set up my own business. Never done this before. (I worked in a bank btw as a business analyst).
I have 30000 pounds savings. Im totally naive about business and don't know what to do. In my time off I was traveling around and found out that nuts fruit, and dried fruit are super cheap, about half a euro (nuts) to two euros (fruit) per kilo...

Hey my good sir,
I'm from Hungary and I believe it would be quite possible for us to partner as I go to Ukraine many times and they have super cheap food over there.

Is investing a small amount of your portfolio for faggots?
I just want to dump that 50k into one company's shares.
Either I will make a killing or lose all money in either case I'm fine. I'll make it back since my goal of being rich is not in the near future. That gives me space for risking.
What do you think /biz/?
Buy ETH
>>1156723
Finding another Google or Apple is like 1 in a 1000. Not impossible but still rather rare.
You're better off just buying the S&P500 dips towards the end of 2016/17

I worked in one for two weeks. Good money, shit hours.
Door to door sales promoting charities, getting people to donate monthly.
Getting someone to sign on for £10 a month got me £30. Usually hit around 100 houses a day using "the law of averages" to get 3 or 4 sales at the end of it.
We needed to get something like 20 sales in a week in order to be allowed to recruit someone ourselves
~£100 a day was good but not for breaking your balls from 10am to 9pm 6 days a week.

How insane would i be to dual major in engineering and biology?
I literally can't decide what I want to major in and I got like a month to decide

OP fell for the STEM meme hard
What are your thoughts on the {CIS} Computer Information System Major, opposed to Computer Science, or Business Analyst?
Wouldn't this major be considered far more flexible and provide more opportunistic job positions?
Is it even considered a part of STEM?
If you're just doing a BS, go for it.
If you're going to grad school and want to get into more scientific stuff, do CS.
So I'm trying to get into the clickbait business. Any one here have any experience with SEOs? How would one advertise a facebookpage/site in a cost effective way?

Are you looking to generate traffic for a blog? The pic you posted is something served on a content ad network (bought traffic) so I'm not sure if it's what you have in mind.
I'm 26 and don't know what to do for a career. The only useful thing I'm genuinely interested in is anatomy and how muscles and the human body works. Mostly because weightlifting is a hobby I'm trying to take more seriously.
What can I do for a living that could be suggested?

Fellow /fit/izen here. There are a lot of us on /biz/
I would say physical therapy, but that profession has taken it hard in the ass in the last ten years and it's going to get worse as the new medicare/medicaid changes are slowly rolled out over the next five years.
If you want to do something medical, then look into going into MD.
If you asked me what I would do if I woke up tomorrow on my first day of being a freshman in college, I would double major in biology/business, devote everything to getting straight A's, and go straight towards being...

Doable, though.
Does paypal check the info you introduce in your account with your bank account?
What happens if you use fake names, etc?
Only if they'll try to verify it later
paypal will immediately limit your account and request additional information from you; picture of id card, ssn card, birth certificate, ect. its best to make a fake id if you use a fake name. buy bitcoin with paypal then convert to bank.
