ROBIN HOOD
i swear i'm not trying to shill here
i want to recruit your help in pumping GBSN when markets next open, and here are my reasons why you might be interested:
1. Everyone has eyes on what's about to happen next with GBSN. GBSN was the highest % winner the day before today in growth, but today it fell to 0.19$ (-30%) per share . I was among the wounded.
2. people are expecting a big announcement over the weekend about some FDA shit that will make serious investors jump on board. My source is ClosingBell.co in the recent tweets about...

Is this the new Robinhood general? What do you guys think about GSK as a safe, long term play?
Let me green text my current situation
> 25 yo
> mechanical engineer
> been depressed for years
> without job but almost 1 year of experience
I'm sick of this situation. I’m from Spain and it’s impossible to find a fucking job here (unemployment rate for young people is almost 50% kek).
I want to leave this fucking country asap. I would like to find a job abroad, and if it’s possible, related with my studies. I’m thinking of going for example to Ireland or UK (or USA why not?) and live in a hostel until I find a suitable job. I know this process can last from some weeks to several months but I don’t care as long as it helps me to put my shit together.
I would like to work in the hostel where I live in exchange for free accommodation until I find a job. Do you think it’s feasible or it’s retarded?
Please help me sharing similar experiences.
Why not start a buisness yourself?
Labour should be sufficiently cheap in a country with such high unemployment.
Spain has virtually no industry. You are an engeneer. Get creative.
>>1160370
Selling yourself into slavery for housing while you look for a job? Bad idea.
>>1160380
I don't have enough money to start a business. And it's not that easy, starting a business is risky aswell

XMR monero has struggled to get past 400k satoshi for a long, long time. A lot of people bought at that price and it's price has been a lot lower than that for a long time.
ALL of the haters insisted that it'd never hit this price again, whereas all (i.e 50% at least, of fucking bitcointalk no less) insist that it's of extraordinary value, but is being rekt by competitors like the shithog which is DASH.
to hit 400k satos is a HUGE deal for XMR. every hater said it'd never happen. Well, it's...

Is mathematics really as in-demand in the financial industry as people say?
And do they also hire mathematicians with a graduate degree, or only PhD graduates?
>>1160282
Yes. $300k starting salary anywhere you want.
Yes but most likely you'll hate your job. Just get some courses in on machine learning and stats in general then go do what you really love. A straight math education is like getting a really high end computer. It's useful for a lot of shit but you'll mostly do shit with it.
>>1160286
But nothing seems more fun to me than using mathematics and computer programming to make money. What kind of qualities are banks or hedge funds looking for in these quants? Do you just have to get high grades and do extracurricular stuff like an honour's program, or do they also want you to have experience "organizing" parties for a fraternity and gay stuff like that?
Anyone here high up on the corporate ladder?
Is the lifestyle they portray in the movies atleast partially accurate? By that i mean.
>expensive dinners at high class restaurants and hanging with the big wigs in your city
>getting invititations to parties where you snort lines of coke off of top quality strippers and hookers asses
>attractive secretaries that you bang on the printer here and there
>company payed for flights etc

I hear being a CEO is one of the most stressful jobs there is.
>>1160193
I have no doubt about that. Running a company is a 24 hour job from what ive heard.
>>1160196
I just pay fags to mange shit for me, they won't fuck up since they themselves don't want to lose money.

Is buying physical gold bullion a good idea?
>>1159918
no, invest in money generating asset not a piece of shiny metal
inb4 muh shiff
>>1159926
I'm really bad at working that stuff out, any tips? I figure if I spend say a few grand on some gold it can sit around at home and I've go it at least. It isn't necessarily bad to buy, is it?
>>1159918
It's an inflation hedge mostly. A "buy and hold" asset, a contingency.
The past 100 years or so have been a Ponzi scheme of buying shit and deferring payment to the next generation...and the next...and the next...meanwhile dollars backed by nothing are printed to pay for it. This is unsustainable and eventually the system will collapse. Fiat money has a 100% failure rate through all history. No exceptions.
This "recovery" we've had after the '08 recession has been...

Do you interact with a lot of rich people? Who's the richest person you personally know? How did they get that wealthy?
The CEO of our hedge fund is a billionare. He doesnt flaunt it and is a pretty normal guy. He's built many successful companies.
I want to ask something, is the use of noortropics (or even harder substances like cocaine or amphetamines) common among wealthy people?
most of mine just had rich parents. some started companies. idk dumb question. rich people are just more fun to be around. one group im in always goes all out trying to do a hundred things every day and spend a bunch of money on quality shit, but most rich dudes just live normally and might dump their money into single big expenses or their hobby.
You guys always have some kind of thread talking about what unethical/illegal shit you can do for money, or how to make $10,000 out of $10, why not do identity theft?
Lowest amount of risk, time, and ease for a fucking high amount of gain. All the people that get caught have been doing it so much and for so long, that it was a matter of when and not if anymore for them. If you limit yourself and stop before then, not do it as a career, and save your money, I can't see why you wouldn't be fine.
Discuss.
Becauaw you wont ever be able to stop yourself. I gurentee it. Then you get complacent and get rekt. The only way i ever thought you could really do it is not only have the know how and take all the technical precautions, but to be travelling on the road the whole time you do it. But trust me, you will get pwnd due to your own greed. But if your gonna do it do it soon in US before they implement rfid, once they do that its gg for carding
"Hey, i'm Veronica. You may remember me from the turkish version of big brother. I'm 21 and my mom is dying because i can't afford her medicine. Sorry that i can't provide any pictures because i can't afford a cell phone. Give me money."
Meh

Because I'm not actually morally bankrupt
Is anyone else actually getting desperate to become somewhat wealthy ?
If it where possible, would you sell your youth and a kidney to become rich ?
I know a good number of wealthy people and almost none of them are happy. Most of them seem to stress out all the time about making even more money even though they don't need it.
Sure they get to eat at the fanciest restaurants, but I make a mean NY strip steak on my grill. If you can make like 100K you are good in my opinion. Or, if you are smart enough to make a couple million and get the fuck out of the rat race. But I've never seen it.
>>1159670
No. It's just a silly, meaningless game. Albeit a fun one.
If wealth determines your self-worth you are a pathetic faggot.
It's not complicated to become somewhat wealthy, but it's often a long process. And the bitch of it is that it changes you and not for the better. You have to sacrifice a lot over a long period of time and, at least in my case, it's made me a little bitter and unsatisfied.
Not only that, but you get used to long hours, worrying about money, etc. and it becomes your new lifestyle. It's hard to come back from that, since it's conditioned into you over a long period of time.
>Oh hey, another crypto thread blablabla.
Yeah you're right faggot, it is another crypto thread. But this isn't just any crypto thread meant to disrupt your time perusing threads regarding the validity of the Random Walk Hypothesis and those "what u financially worth /biz/" e-penis threads.
No, this is something far more disruptive.
I'm talking about the big bucks here people. This shit coin is for the elites, for the guys who think shitcoin investing is better left for the virgin nerds who don't...

Can you please take your explicit language elsewhere? Obviously you're not the target demographic for this thread.
Go back to your e-penis containment thread.
Show me some stats.
How hasn't anyone been paying attention to Siacoin?
It's clearly next up to the launchpad, first stop: the moon.
Next stop - the stars!
It's a high volume, low-cost alternative to the unstable ETH.

would you trust an auto shop where a woman is the receptionist? i think we are losing business because of this,
>>1159298
That depends.
Does she have big tits, pretty face, and dresses to match the establishment?
>>1159298
if she doesn't know about cars and isn't only there to look super hot then no I probably wouldn't
>>1159301
yes to all, she is great, and actually knows what the fuck she is talking about for the most part, but when people call and she answers, they hang up. but she does the fucking books and finances, and i dont want to lose her (i cant do her job, dude), but seems like a lot of people in our area don't take her seriously. they see her and shut down.

If you sell someone this and they get stabbed and hurt, couldn't you be legally fucked? Or only the manufacturer?
Alright here's the scenario
>you have zero credit
>bank is offering a shitty secured card but also good ones, with cashback
>you have $70k sitting in accounts with them (hush)
>they get your paystubs so they see your income
is it even possible to convince the bank to skip over the secured shit and just give me the good card? I REALLY don't want to go through that shit

Rent, Car loan or mortgage count for your credit report.
>>1159219
rent does not count unless you fuck up
I have multiple years of good rental history
car loan at zero credit score would be a horrendous rate
Try Discover. I was in your situation, good job, lot's of cash, no credit history.
Applied for like four cards and got rejected to all of them, until Discover sent me something in the mail and accepted me right away. Now I get credit card apps every week with people begging me to take a card and into the trash they go.
easy ways to get beer money?
You got strong knees OP?

Suck penis you drunk
Just tell your therapist you want to die and he'll write a document which you can deliver at the welfare office and you get 30k per year to sit on your ass and smoke weed and drink beers! :)
Therapists today are very liberal leftist and SJW, its very easy to get them to write that document. Those people at the welfare office cant be dirtbags and idiots, but as long as you got that document they are obligated to give you the money! :)
