About to enter college and faced with the decision of what major I should go into. At the moment I'm leaning towards accounting
My reasoning is that the business skills, good starting salary, and room for job growth would give me the money and experience to go into something entrepreneurial by the time I was in my late 20's. It seems like a major with which you can't really go wrong...

I often think about starting a hydroponics business where we sell vegetables that we can grow year-round. Where I live, there aren't many options for vegetables that haven't been shipped from the other side of the country. Does this idea sound viable? Any input?

My goal is to give them a place so solid and well build and so big that the next generations of my family will never have to worry about mortgage, renting and office or anything like that.
