Also Bitcoin general thread

No matter what, you'll kill yourself in 10 years when you look at the price and when you look at your 0 BTC wallet.
bitcoin's price definitely will stay within 10 dollars of the current price

Hey B/ros how much would you charge a client/Sugar Daddy for an weekend romp in a different country 2000 km away. He'll be paying for the travel and what have yous. So guys give me a hand here have you ever had a paid date come to you from another country? How much did it cost?
It costs your life when you end up kidnapped and sold into sexual slavery in Eastern Europe or Asia
>>1174388
As an Eastern European all I can say is "Good Luck".
>There is no one with a special set of skills coming to save you
>>1174566
Meh worth it.
Is it illegal to figure out the pattern of a casino game and win off it?
No, it's not illegal. But, the casinos also have the right to bar you from playing. For example, they'll kick you out if they suspect you're counting cards in blackjack.
It IS however illegal to exploit glitches in slot machines and video poker and the like. The house always wins my friend. Don't even try to beat them. Even if you do, especially if you do, they will find a way to get you back.
>>1174307
What constitutes a gitch though. I'm not hacking it I just notice an incredibly obvious pattern
Does anyone else here want to achieve independent financial stability and never get married ?
Let's say that you'll give your money/resources to your close relatives when you die.
>>1174269
In my modest opinion, I think marriage is the grave of love.
I don't think I'll ever get married.
I hope one day to find a women that I can build a family with.
I don't have nor brothers nor sisters; I want at least 2/3 kinds. If she'll be sterile (or me) I'd have no trouble adopting kids.
Still, no marriage
yea
>>1174280
>If she'll be sterile (or me)
I don't want to think about this.
What are you striving to achieve /biz/?
>>1174221
Power... Unlimited power
>>1174221
All I want is to not have a boss
Do as much as I could that would leave a positive mark on society while doing as little as possible meaningless shit. Funny enough I know to not have a boss means being your own boss and it's becoming so strssful i'd rather stick to some art and hire a manager. For that you need the dolla tho.
Also fuck bitches and get money.
why is mcdonalds regarded as such a shit place to work in?
>the customers are the lowest of society
>the pay is garbage
>most of your coworkers are either uppity high school students or retards with no aspirations
>>1174242
the smell is nice tho
Well it depends on what you do at Mcdonalds. I'm sure the CEO loves his $767k paycheck he gets at the end of the year.
What is it about engineering degrees that make them so hot shit?
I know engineers are payed well, but is it 'just'
>Decent newly graduated wage
>You become worth more as your experience grows
>Contracts
that makes them good?
Would someone get the same benefits with a Computer Science Degree?
>>1174191
It's like medicine and law, you get a special licence which states you're legally allowed to do [x,y,z]. Companies need a certain amount of [x,y,z] done and there are only so many people with the required licence, thus holding said licence makes you a rare and sought after commodity.
>>1174191
If you really want CS degree, make sure you know an object oriented language, C/C++, and a third popular language as a minimum. Don't cut corners, make this your hobby, and avoid /g/ as much as you can. The more I learned about things, the more I found they know just barely enough to shit on people.
Internship is mandatory, and you need to try and become buds with the teacher that coded back when Windows wasn't a thing.
>>1174191
Another problem is as you get older for stuff that requires a CS degree is that they are more and more inclined to hire new kiddos and just fire your ass, especially since unless you are constantly learning new shit, you are behind in knowledge of what new programs are being used.
Compare this to engineers, where it is harder to get a degree and the knowledge learned from school is around the same of what will be needed for most of the rest of your career.
I had one grandpa that was an engineer and another...

I went from a marketing major to an accounting major. I liked accounting at first, but now I fucking hate it with a passion. I really don't think I could wake up every morning and it this for a living. I have thought about switching to business admin/management.
If I do switch will I e able to still land a stable job?
yeah, you can use business admin/management to get your bachelors, youre going to want to get some sort of license to conduct business though. Insurance, realestate, etc.
accounting can be difficult especially with the wrong professor.... use rate my professor and take the well liked ones.
accounting kind of bites because the beginning, intermediate, and some advanced courses force you to work as if you were in the sumerian age.
actual accounting work is done on the computer, so its not as bad as class.
>>1174182
What kind of jobs do you think I'll be able to land with a business degree?
yeah just switch bro
Is this actually good investment?
>>1174173
I would say no.
Unless you are offering lower interest rates than a bank (low as fuck) you are not going to attract the banks customers.
What you will attract are people banks won't lend to because they don't pay their bills. Essentially you are running a ghetto short term loan shop online.
>>1174181
If the interest rate is high enough this can still be a profitable endeavor.
>>1174190
>being a loanshark
>having to read up on usury laws
>people who support 100% inheritance tax
i would be happy if it was 90%
>>1174045
If I could deduct 100% of what I'd have inherited over as many years as it'd take, I'd be okay with it.
>>1174045
These are the worst. The whole point in your existence is to produce offspring and try to give them as good a chance as possible.
Hey /biz/ i dont know where to post this i thought you may find it cool

How do I verify IDs?
I want to use them as collateral for renting out bicycles but I don't want some fucker to give me a fake ID and steal my bikes.
Is there some way of verifying IDs?
Run a credit card instead. It's even more reliable since you won't have to argue with the schmuck.
>>1174054
>Run a credit card instead.
Sorry, what does this mean? I'm not familiar with the phrase.
What shops over here usually do is they take your ID and keep it on lock until you return the bicycle at which point you can have it back. It's not just to verify identity.
>>1174060
I think it means take the details or something so you can take out the money if they nick your bikes
I don't want people to steal your bikes either oP, good luck
Hey /biz/, this is my chart of what I think the S&P will do leading up to the implementation of Basel 3. Post your predictive charts.
>>1173955
I predict the slightly more volatile pic related.
>>1173962
Mine wasn't meant to be perfect. It'll obviously have more volatility. I was just showing the general pattern I think is forming. We just popped up out of the bear trap.
