Is is possible to get into advertising/copy-writing with little or no experience?
Yeah.
Spend an hour a day learning, a few hours a day on weekends. Do that for a whole year, and then start copywriting for free for rich + powerful people. Make them happy, get testimonials and case studies, BAM - you can start copywriting professionally.
Or you can be a shit copywriter and make ass money on upwork.
>>1242141
Listen: if Pakis and Indians on Fiverr and similar sites can sell "copywriting" services for real money with only a partial understanding of the english language, imagine what a native speaker can do.
Learn some basic courses and then get to work. Most people don't even know what good copy is anyway and will accept shit work.

Do you guys realize that most people who earn over 100k a year do shit that you could EASILY do if someone taught you? Think of it as like a hurdles race with different height hurdles. The reality is that all of you are capable of jumping the highest hurdle. But most ppl who earn 100k+ want you to believe that most ppl cant do what they can do.

Why do you think labor unions are so protective and difficult to get into?
Because literally ANYBODY can be a longshoreman, dock worker, nurse, etc.
My college dropout girlfriend makes 120k+ cleaning after patients and calling a doctor when something actually happens.
Literally a robot can do her job... and likely will in the near future.

>Do you guys realize that you can do anything in the world other people can do and more if you put the effort in?
Fixed that for you.
You can become a world class athlete, a mathematician, an inventor, a billionaire, a world-class investor, etc.
The differential is putting the effort in and actually working hard
>>1252145
You don't seem to understand, those jobs are not paying you 100k for the task/work you are doing, they are paying you for your status. There are people who struggled years to get where they are, it's like a tribal kind of thing. We are still pretty primitive if you think about it, it's all very imaginary.

Daily reminder that the options market is a scam and casino, you will be receiving negative expected value for a roulette wheel spin and making that trade with a professional trader who will be licking his lips at your ignorance.

I am really sad when i read specialized forums in forex, why?
Because all the trading journal I read ends the same way :
They end up losing all their gains and have their account to 0 dollars, after 6 months or 1 year.
I need testimonials from people who really live forex successfully since several years.

Any credit card advice? I'm looking into getting one to pay for gas/groceries to build up some credit, even though I'm currently paying off
>student loans
Is there anything to watch out in particular if I would only be using the card for this? Any tips on maximizing the benefits of credit cards?

Look for a card that gives back shit like 1% on groceries, 2% on gas, etc.
Or look for a card that does reward points, and if you use it enough maybe in a year or two you'll have saved up a free flight.
If you don't want to jew yourself just make sure you immediately pay off all purchases you make on the card. If you're just starting out, your interest rate could be high like 15%
Dont use your credit card for fun.
Use it for simple every day shit that you are going to pay off...

I think you should look up what a rising interest rate environment does to credit cards.
I did this using very small easy to calculate numbers & yet still achieved *billions* of $s in tax revenue from people that are paid thru taxes. The big issues I have with this is:
1. Why? & 2. Where does it go?
Can anyone help me solve these issues and/or help me figure out what could be done with this revenue? #NotAPolitician

The military has a lot of stupid fucking finance stuff. Like how you get a 200$ or so for a food budget however there is no way of seeing that money because they take it right back because you can eat at the defac. So in reality you never see that money and it has never touched anyones hands.
>>1253212
Whats the question?
Main question is why does the military pay taxes? Paying people with taxes while having them pay taxes is an oxymoron.
Secondary question is where does those the money go?

I was there too, living in an old Monastery for 350 a month. It was one step below a Crack house. I doubled my salary in two years just moving to another company with skills I acquired. There's always hope. Soon you'll have enough to start real Estate investing, and things will snowball. Live cheap and keep moving forward.
