I want to destroy my enemies, and I do not wish to give any potential rivals ammunition with which to use against me

>ever got someone to get themselves fired through deception?
>ever got someone to take the blame for your mistakes?
>ever got someone to do all the work and you took credit?

What happens when they slip up and your boss just turns a blind eye because his prized employee can "do no wrong" even tho the evidence is right in front of his face
Do you think well paying blue collar jobs will ever make a significant comeback in the US? Seems to me like that ship has long sailed
There are already well-paying blue-collar jobs. What are you talking about?
>>1262301
That's true, but what I think the OP is getting at is that they're not nearly as prevalent as they used to be. I have one that pays me $100k+. I could raise a family and let my wife stay at home on that, but jobs like that are few and far between. I don't know if we'll ever get back to where we were in the 60s, but I think it would be nice to see the skilled trades make a huge come back.
>>1262310
what does this have to do with anything?
you could raise a family with one salary because that's what an household had.
now with female entering the workforce the average household as 2 salaries.
""nothing"" to do with bluecollar or not
Hey guys, I need your opinion on something I'm planning to start a web based business i have two options so far tell me the pros and cons
>People selling to people their own used or new items like free market.
>A search motor for business with different pay plans that include catalogs and online store based with opencart
I will like to add that all this ideas are actually new for the country and may have some applications.
>>1262219
That's what peoples faces look like when I'm on mushrooms. Sometimes. It can get more distorted but the doubling effect is common
>>1262219
free market app already exists 4 times over
yours wont be anything new or better
go with the search motor
>>1262550
Don't you think it would work here? there are no websites doing it in this country i mean if you want to sell your phone or tv nobody uses amazon or ebay here it's weird but i ill try out the search motor, btw you have any tips?
Why does everyone get mad a China for manipulating their currency when their yaun is 6.5 per U.S. Dollar. and the Japenese Yen is like 112 per Dollar? Wouldn't Japan be way more competitive?
Is there a good book to learn how floating currencies work?
>>1262208
>>1262208
Try Google first... The premise of your question is literally the dumbest idea of currency I've ever heard. The numbers don't mean jack shit. We could double all the US money for fun (everyone with 1000 now has 2000) and nothing would change. There's no universal constant of currency worth that means that Japan is 20 times cheaper. Everything just costs more there and there's more yen in this world.
>>1262243
>everyone with 1000 now has 2000) and nothing would change.
i don't really go on this board but is inflation a meme here or something or are you actually serious?
Hello /biz/ this is Warren Buffet!

Is it possible to fake a degree in the US to get a high paying job?
Not a six figure job, but maybe something in the 60k-85k a year range?
Do employers actually ask for a copy of your degree in hand or do thorough background checks if it's just a regular job?
Yes
Thorough background check usually.
I've lied my balls off my resume. Some check into it, some don't. Depends entirely on the company you're applying for.
It's really awkward and somewhat entertaining at the same time when/if you get busted.
>>1262109
You can still lie to get into sales positions but thats because why vet you? You live on commision - sink or swim
Faking degrees is still extremely rare, and most employers don't check that. They usually only do criminal background checks
The more prestigious the job the more thorough they will be.
Most employers won't do any kind of background check for sub ~50k jobs though
Hello,
My name is James Sculthorpe, and I recently, I quit my job at a newly established "Dickey's BBQ" location in Petaluma. I was less than professional in my letter of resignation and while the employees got a kick out of it, the management was less than pleased. Below is the letter, in pdf and I will also be posting it in a subsequent string of images. I have heard through the grapevine that the management has found it threatening and is looking to call the police.
My questions are:
Is it perceivable as threatening?
What does this mean for...

Really considering having a tiny house built.
>Cheap to heat and cool.
>Relatively cheap to build
>Wont have to be a slave to my mortgage for very long and they seem pretty easy to maintain.
Fuck endenturing yourself to a regular mortgage for 30+ years on a house that youll never actually own because of ever increasing property taxes and fuck renting to some spastic minority landlord who tries to jew your rent up.
Tiny house Master race

Have fun paying $2000 a month for a place to park it.
Better to buy a honda element or a suburban and literally put 2000 dollars in the bank every month even with a low paying job. Or live with parents if u can.
Op i like ur attitude tho.
Time for the greatest business book, ever!
What book is this?

Is it actually a good idea to make your hobby your job? Wouldn't you get tired of it?
Depends on your hobby. Fapping doesn't pay well unless you are young and female.
>>1261834
Yes you would, but at least it wouldn't kill ya doing it every day.
>>1261834
>Wouldn't you get tired of it?
Not if you like it.

So, I don't feel like getting into the stocks, but don't have the capital to make some kind of lending small business.
Are there good websites for lending online? I have found a few, such as https://www.lendingclub.com, where you see a decent return on your loan within a few months rather than watching a portfolio.
Does anyone have any experience with this here, or should I just say fuck it and go with the stock options in my company?
>>1261822
bump
The rate of return is exaggerated and defaults are common. Invest in oil familio
>>1261822
Yeah, so either you lend money at shit interest, lower than any banks, or lend to shitty people rejected by banks. Who has these fucking ideas, honestly? But anyway, if you don't have the capital start flipping something. Risks are minimal, returns are dependent on your skills (can be very good).
I have an interview for a high responsibility job coming soon (the kind where they'll shove an anal probe up your ass mid-questioning just to see how you react to stressful situations). Are there any books you have read that truly helped you nail such interviews ?
>>1261806
interviews for dummies
>>1261810
Is it that simple ?
>>1261806
always end your interview by asking if there was anything with the interview or your application materials that you could have done better.
other than that just try not to sound like an idiot. dont be too autistic, unless you actually have autism, in which case tell them beforehand so they aren't confused.
Are there any lawyers or law students here ?
Can you tell me what it's like to be one ?
>>1261798
I have a family member that just graduated from a top law school with great marks. He studied alot, read alot. I don't think you could get past it with great marks unless you genuinely enjoyed learning about law considering how much shit you have to go through.
He became a lawyer, but, never worked as one. He went in to banking.
Try to grab internships or work experience, there are so many law kids running around.

would not recommend
if i could go back i would of picked a hard science or got a doctorate in econ
>>1261811
>He became a lawyer, but, never worked as one. He went in to banking.
Why would he do that if he studied and worked hard to earn a Law degree ?
Did he get tired of it ?
