That's true, but what I think the OP is getting at is that they're not nearly as prevalent as they used to be. I have one that pays me $100k+. I could raise a family and let my wife stay at home on that, but jobs like that are few and far between. I don't know if we'll ever get back to where we were in the 60s, but I think it would be nice to see the skilled trades make a huge come back.

We could double all the US money for fun (everyone with 1000 now has 2000) and nothing would change. There's no universal constant of currency worth that means that Japan is 20 times cheaper. Faking degrees is still extremely rare, and most employers don't check that. They usually only do criminal background checks
The more prestigious the job the more thorough they will be.
Most employers won't do any kind of background check for sub ~50k jobs though

I was less than professional in my letter of resignation and while the employees got a kick out of it, the management was less than pleased. Are there good websites for lending online? I have found a few, such as https://www.lendingclub.com, where you see a decent return on your loan within a few months rather than watching a portfolio.

I have a family member that just graduated from a top law school with great marks. He studied alot, read alot. I don't think you could get past it with great marks unless you genuinely enjoyed learning about law considering how much shit you have to go through.
He became a lawyer, but, never worked as one. He went in to banking.
Try to grab internships or work experience, there are so many law kids running around.
