>>1281230
Already checked, not many jobs besides trade jobs.
>>1281229
Think about it this way. Are things getting better there? Do you see things getting better anytime soon? At all? Or is everything slowly getting worse? You would be the best person to make that judgement.
Based on the answer to the previous question, you need to decide whether or not its a good idea to set the anchor down long term, because changing your mind later might not be feasible.
Personally I would gtfo. Find a nice town in a nice state that ISNT overrun with nigs, welfare babbys, and degenerates....

Did you think the IPO would go to shit as badly as it did?
I am a noob when it comes to the financial world, so please help me.
I am really interested in stock markets and I need to decide what I am going to study soon.
I was going to study economy at a german (elite) uni, but a friend who is studying there told me that I would have to study mathematics or IT to work at the stock market.
What should I do? Do I really have to change majors?
>>1280631
Bump
No, you can learn this shit on your own.
>>1280631
Your mate is right. If you want to explain the stock market the whole day u have to study economics. If you realy want to make money and TRADE in the market you are a rich man with IT+financialskills combined.
>He uses stop losses
What's the matter, are you scared?
>>1279432
Well, I heard that if you drop below $3.49, Robin Hood suspends your account.
>>1279432
I just think it's not always the best option.
For instance.
Bought HOV at $2.09 per share 6 months ago. Dropped to fucking $1.35 or some shit. Bought more shares to average my cost per share to $1.74
Sold everything yesterday for $1.90 per share.
>>1279432
Fucking pussies use stop losses!! I'm paid to have a position; not change my mind!!! I've still got $40,000 worth of Enron stock. It's not a loss until I take it!!
does any /biz/fag want to start a youtube joint venture with me? I know a bit of video/audio editing, so the post production part is taken care of, I just need a partner who can take care of video/audio production, and someone with which I can potentially discuss video topics, ideas and whatnot.
Does anybody have time to waste? Let's at least have fun if we fail :P
>>1278407
whats your editing style like
what kind of youtubers are you into
and where are you from?

What videos do you want to make, to be more specific?
What is your target audience?

Sounds fun I'd be down, I'm a gamer who can at least provide fun or creative content
- Anyone here have a successful and durable experience in forex trading ?
- What's techniques did you use ?
- With how much money did you begin ?
- Gives me advice for a beginner like me, please.
I am really sad when i read specialized forums in forex, why?
Because all the trading journal I read ends the same way :
They end up losing all their gains and have their account to 0 dollars, after 6 months or 1 year.
I need testimonials from people who really live forex successfully since several years.

Anyone here major in this in college?
What jobs are typically available in this position.
About to be a sophomore as an accounting major but might switch to MIS major

IS is pretty underrated DESU
>>1277651
Do you know the typical salary? i can look it up but some websites are unreliable, but just for reference i'm from CT
One thing about this is a lot of people say CS is always better than MIS but in certain jobs that you mentioned, MIS is more valuable bc being able to code isn't as valuable as taking the data and making it coherent, the reason why accountants still exist
literally just pick a major

>>1284406
Shit yeah I was watching the price, it rocketed straight past 2c. I feel dumb now I didn't buy any. Waiting to get paid before I can afford some.
Tfw already made $200 from Trumps and they're still rising.
>>1284535
Get in quick! First marketing video will come out this weekend. once that goes viral TRUMP will rocket in price.
If the only difference between a checkings account and a savings account is that a savings account gains interest over time, why not just have only a savings account and forego a checking account?
I can't debit from my savings, and there are transfer limits from savings to checking. I'm sure there are other Jewish tricks I'm not aware of.
>>1284334
>I can't debit from my savings
So why not just use credit then? and then pay the CC bill with your savings account
>>1284331
with the interest rates being what they are for savings accounts, why not never give your money to a bank?
Its astonishing how many people you come across in a day who not only have jobs, but have good jobs, and these people are literally the no more valuable than an indian or SE asian who makes a few hundred $ a year.... People think that trying hard entitles you to earn hundreds of dollars per day, and not dollars per day... On the other hand, some ppl do deserve what they earn, and even some billionares deserve every penny they own... but most avg ppl should be earning world tier avg salaries in the 10-30 dollars per day range...
Sorry Mr. Shapiro but we're not going to be adopting a global currency any time soon. a

It's all relative, sure you can cut salaries add long as you also cut expenses too. But really, it's just a number that is only relevant when compared to other similar numbers.
/biz/, where should I learn the basics of stocks and financial markets? What are some good books to read on the subject? I'm pretty much clueless on the subject.

What do you guys think of cutco? It sounds good, but I'm not sure at all.
What a cutting edge name, like Edgecom or Interslice.
As a chef (reformed) and knifefag I can tell you their product is shit.
So it's as good as any other business that pressures people to offload shit merchandise on their friends and relatives.
>>1284124
>What do you guys think of cutco?
It's multi-level marketing, i.e. one of the oldest and most persistent iterations of a Ponzi scheme. That's really all there is to it.
/biz/, is there any way for me to turn 120 WPM typing speed into a job?
Everyone tells me I should do it, but it can't possibly be as simple as just typing fast.
What other skills and qualifications do you have? 120 wpm is good but it's not quite career good.
Maybe you could learn keyboard stenography and become a court reporter?
>>1284048
120wpm as well. Just got a job last week typing court transcripts from home. Little over $25 an hour. Not something to do for the rest of your life, but its a job.
