Given you lack the time (you already have a regular job), the money (no pile of capital), and knowledge of how financial instruments move, you should probably stick to investing. It sucks because it's slow and boring, but does pick up over time.

1) Gates and Gates's father strongly support the estate tax. They look at this through a macro (not micro-spoiled child) outlook and is likely guided by economic and philosophical thought that says concentration of extreme wealth is bad.
2) Having 10 million (i.e. 5X what the average college grad will make in a lifetime) in cash, sounds pretty fucking awesome. Not to mention the money that has already been spent on private schools, trips around the world, and so on.

Absolutely nothing. Supply of new bitcoins is halved, but market supply is decreased by very little. The rate at which bitcoins are mined has very little to do with how many bitcoins are currently up for sale.
Nobody knows for sure but the price is generally expected to rise ,we could be seeing the run up to that now.

Now these are old and carved stones, so that's a fair bit of money.

Geologist opening a marble quarry in quebec. Were getting 14$/cubic feet for architecturAl stones. Were selling rAw blocks of 18' x 4' x 4'. Production cost is evaluated at less than 2$/cubic feet.
And your price is really only dictated by the look of your stone and the current demand... Not that much about its usage. If the stone looks good, they will see if its physical qualities fit the needed usage.

However a further question. Not relevant in the case of Marble, but perhaps you know about it; would people pay more for a machined, modern CUT STONE ornament ( say an ornamental cap stone ) than they would for an identical modern POURED STONE item?
