So I have the opportunity to start a drug testing service with the potential to make some good money and employ some good people.
Does anyone know what is required to start the business?
From what I've seen you can hire sample collectors or get your own people certified. I'm also positive you can find labs that do, of course, the certified results.
Does anyone have any experience/advice?
Thanks!
Sonu want to make money getting ppl fired.
Sounds like you need to kill yourself faggot

> Only drug that doesn't metabolize quick enough to be detected is now either legal or decriminalized in half the country.
Sounds like the worst idea ever.
>>1383214
that doesn't mean companies won't still drug test their employees, airlines, buses etc will always do it as long as a person is in the driver seat.
So I am a big believer in Ray Kurzweils predictions. So far they have been mostly right and since I'm in my 40's I know how much exponential change affects our world (as opposed to millennials who have always had the internet in their life).
So it leads to me to my problem... I'm an avid investor and have been doing quite well for myself since the crash in 2009 and I am saving for retirement using SP500 yadda yadda yadda.
However, I have this sinking feeling that automation is either going to stimulate the economy or crash it when everyone is out...

I don't know, but I like your question.
I think it will be how it always has. No we don't have flying cars and jetpacks, but we do have other amazing things that we could never have imagined (crypto, smart phones etc...)
I think the future will be the same way. Things will pop up that we could never imagine while things we expected will be a flop.
>Le automation maymay

Automation is already here. Ever hear of the assembly line? Because that's automation. The invention of the assembly belt increased production exponentially. Perfecting automation may have lifestyle (akin to cultural) effects but always remember supply and demand.
Most people lack insight on automation's implications. So they ride the slippery slope. Fast food workers don't matter as much we'd believe them to be, except in inflating job statistics the middle class does not live off fast food jobs.

Britbong here. Should I sell all my shares and buy dividend paying index funds through a shares ISA?
What is your annualized rate of return with your current strategy?
Are you trading CFD's on IG or similar?
If so, are there other interest costs associated with trading those instruments?
Is an ISA more cost effective?
What is your risk management strategy?
Does an ISA provide better return on investment for less risk?
These are the sorts of questions you need to answer to know what your ideal investment strategy is.
Bump for interest
>>1382025
Don't know yet since I've only been investing since January this year. I'm trading through IG yeah.
An ISA would be more cost effective in the long term since you aren't taxed on capital gains if I were to sell, or dividends. You can only invest so much per year through an ISA scheme, this year is £15k
I just don't know whether I should sell my individual stocks and throw them all into indexes though
I wish i could move to the US (poorfag brazilian).
I know some people who were miserable here, then they decided to pack their stuff, say fuck it and risk it all starting anew in the US with just enough money for the ticket, food and a place to stay for a few days, none of them even knew how to speak english and they still did it. They somehow got jobs, blue collar stuff like construction and manufacturing (they say american kids consider themselves too good for those jobs), but they are making good money, after just a few months they already moved to much better places,...

Or better. I met a Brazilian guy here. If you want to come don't talk about where you're from. No one cares. Good of luck.

How the fuck does /biz/ deal with stress while costanzaing around? Surely you must have some methods other than not giving a fuck about the people you screw over?
If they deserved to not be fucked over they wouldn't get fucked over
stupid people pay a tax for being stupid
>>1381313
Not sure if the context you're considering.
A lot of people would consider what I do whilst trading securities"fucking people over" but the way I see it, no one has a gun to their head telling them to execute a trade that doesn't benefit them. I merely make trades in my best interests and never consider other people's interests because they're not paying the food and electricity bill.
>>1381350
I get your point, but does lying to them ever stress you out?
Need to create a stock market simulation with normal rational investors that place and execute orders on a random basis. Additional I should include a spoofer (someone that tries to manipulate the market prices, using spoofing) and show the reactions.
I was recommended to program this with R.
Is that even possible or do you have any other recommendations for programs?
It's for my thesis.
>>1381062
Give us more detail on what you need and what you are exactly studying with your thesis. You wanna make a simulation that shows the effects of spoofing when compared to the regular market?
My intention is to show the effects of spoofing and then give a solution, how the regulators can detect spoofers automatically.
In a first step, I will have to simulate a stock market with about 10 normal investors and one spoofer.
I was just wondering if it's even possible to create such simulations with R, since I've only used it for econometrical analysis.
And how much knowledge is required to create such a simulation, because atm I'm still pretty much a noob in R.

What's the best stock database thing?
I use finviz to screen but it only tells you after it isn't good for finding out past trends or anything.
What's a database that will let me sort stocks by specific parameters. Say I wanted all stocks that went up 20% within 40% minutes in the past 20 days or something like that. Anything like this?
Then I also got all the info about what was going on at any specific time frame that I want, not just current, and I can see if it was overbought or oversold or volatile, all that stuff.
Anything comprehensive like this?
Nothing?
