Is lifecasting still a thing? Also, how much would you think the average pay would be?
"Lifecasting is the process of creating a three-dimensional copy of a living human body, through the use of molding and casting techniques."
I'm sure it still happens...
If you mean Vlogging, then yes, it's still a thing. Pay can be anywhere from $0 - $500,000+, but guess which end you're gonna be at
>>1320228
$500,000? :^)
>>1320234
The .1% of famous Youtube vloggers make absurd amounts of money through views, sponsored videos, affiliates and merchandise.
They are the unicorns though, most people are more likely to lose more money making a video than you make back.
So what's the deal with p2p lending services? Why are they not more popular as a long term holding alternative?
Pros:
>10% or more annual return
>Lended money spread over several lenders for minimal loss rate
Cons:
????
>>1320108
Cons is you have to put your faith in people. It's not some established business entity in the running to make profits, it's some Joe Schmo who failed out of high school economics taking out a loan to pay off his credit card debt. They're idiots, and it's honestly pretty risky.
It pays off if you're very selective and spread your shit out as much as possible, but that's also way more time consuming and less 'exciting' than something like day trading.

just diversify your funds and you should be ok. be selective too
also, dont invest anything you cant afford to lose.
My experience with p2p has been positive so far
The collective 4-chan subtype that wakes up dreaming of a P2P scam and how to defraud those with cash.

Wow, this guy is up to date with the news.
Gonna feel so good when ETH is up to $60 this December and I'm laffin at u h8rs
Hey All,
I am new to cryptocurrencies but I have been interested in it since seeing the prices more than double from three years ago. Is there any opportunity to actually make money through investing in a small server setup? Possibly using some office computers to assist me?
Would Ethereum be a good high risk investment since the price just dropped significantly or is it potentially compromised?
I am not looking for a get rich quick scheme but I am very unfamiliar with how much I could actually make (assuming it isn't all worthless in the end).

mining BTC, not a chance
ETH, its still feasable
>Is there any opportunity to actually make money through investing in a small server setup? Possibly using some office computers to assist me?
No, it's far too late in the hype cycle for that to reap anything worthwhile. Lots of people are now using dedicated mining hardware (i.e. ASICs) that will outperform your ghetto setup by 8 orders of magnitude.
bump
You do now have the chance to get some Litecoins, after having gotten scammed by ethereum
>>1319450
are you the same person posting this every night
litecoin has done nothing for 2 years
>>1319450
Why are lite coins shit?
what are some money saving tips?
reuse shopping bags for rubbish.
The ironic thing about saving money is that living a healthy and minimalist lifestyle naturally corrects all the problems that consumerism causes.
That obviously doesn't mean living in a fucking box, but that you shouldn't be keeping up with the Jones'
>>1318980
Why don't you focus on earning more money rather than pennypinching to save $3/week when you could've worked 20 minutes at a part time minimum wage job to earn that?
>>1318983
This is good advice. When you realize the majority of the population is financially retarded you'll stop giving a shit what they think.
Also, try to do a side gig during your free time. Fixing phone screens, computers, car detailing, anything relatively easy to learn that can bet you a quick buck.
>civilized western commerce teaches customer service above all else. Always make the customer happy
>third world shit skin commerce teaches that every transaction is a battle to see who can be the bigger Jew, the seller or the buyer
>beaners and kebabs make life hell for western customer service employees and take advantage of everyone they can in every business dealing
kthx.

Is this book /biz/ approved?
>>1318873
pretty underrated book. its good if you need help with negotiating.
Mediocre at best
Taught me how to invest better and how valuable reputation is over capital.
hey /biz/ can some of you who are well versed and knowledgeable in business and finance explain it to me as well and and as detailed and simply as you can, I really want to know all about finance and banking and business and economics and how it all works and things like how economics and business works the different areas and aspects of finance and investing and what causes economies to run and function and how do economies work and what causes things like recessions especially the great recession global financial collapse of 2008/2009 that was the worst the world has ever...

Go to the library and read all the books related to economics. Trust me. Do not listen to any other advices. Go and read them all.
>>1318844
Just buy an intro econ book like Begg's economics, read finance news from sites like Bloomberg and read all of the "intro" articles on investing.com and maybe watch an online course like economics on khan academy or something. This place won't teach you anything.
I do I read about business and finance and economics all the time and watch videos on it but I want to learn all about it while I can they say everyone has something they really love and are interested in life and I think for me its finance and economics
Is couch potato investing just a meme now that world economic growth has basically ground to a halt?
>>1318684
Yes. It turns out you have to pay your workers enough for them to buy your products.

Senpai I'm waiting for it to plunge to ground zero before buying back in. It'll reach 20 again, just not as quickly. If you're gonna hold you better be willing to hold it long term.
I was under the impression ETH is dead.
I'm pretty sure you're just a bagholder at this point OP
