I keep running into situations where I'll finally after a long time find a job but then not actually get to do it much if at all because of delays and things and them not actually firing or laying me off putting me into a giant limbo to wonder if I should really try to find one again (which always takes a long time anyway) or try to stick this out this time, last time I did find something else with completely different people but then it was the exact same scenario that happens to me again I mean I wish they would tell me more of what the hell is going on. It is honestly...

If you signed a contract and they pull this kind of stuff, you might have precedence for legal action. Do you live in the states?
>>1324439
Well yes I'm in the states. Technically I had to use an employment agency who's the one who actually pays me. In fact they did pay me, for the little time this time that I worked. I mean I would honestly settle for just knowing what the hell is taking so long because originally it was only gonna be a small delay so they could finish a new building but then many weeks went by. Monetary wise I do feel like I should get at least "Some" sort of pay for the trouble because this not only effects me this...

I'm honestly just sick of constantly being abused by employers.
Post usefull pictures, charts, graphs that are biz related and maybe helpfull.
DJI is such an archaic index, why do some media outlets talk about the Dow Jones before the S&P 500, which is much better and more representative than the market.
you figure it out.
Dow has a 130 year history. S&P 500 has a 60 year history.
Easier for a normie to understand. (30 household names)
Correlates closely to the S&P 500 in the long term anyway.

Hoping there's some people here who can program AND know finance.
Say I needed to demonstrate a knowledge of being able to use C# in finance. What are some things that I could program to do so?
1st Project: 10 Hours of work.
2nd Project: 40 Hours of work.
How about writing pong?
A trading bot
That'll be 1000 dollars thanks
um, anything statistics related? if you knew both things then you'd know that coding is basically applied math just like finance. the language doesn't matter.
"A customer typically has to see an advertisement 7 times to be convinced to buy a product" Is this bullshit or...?

Do not listen to your marketing teacher. If he was talented, he would have chose another carrer.
Is marketing just a meme?
I mean it seems like advertisers just justify their wages without producing anything of value apart from a super expensive advert that could be replaced with just a billboard saying "eat at my place"
>>1323360
marketing's definitely not a meme, that's how this website pays for server costs. i don't think anybody would be consistently paying for something that doesn't work
what are the various forces that affect the price of bitcoin? I more or less understand those which fluctuate an ETF, but cryptocurrencies are still a bit of a mystery to me.
Fiat cuckrrencies being prone to retarded capital controls.
Memedebt imploding.
Being able to move money from A to B seamlessly without noone's approval.
Potential marketcap: Trillions of dollars

SUPPLY AND DEMAND REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
>>1323180
Nothing other than it has a lower barrier of 200 , below 200 dollars the chinese miners that secure the network dont make profit and would stop mining
So its not a floor from a demand perspective but from the supply thing
But yeh thats the only actually connected to objective reality "fundamental"
What's a good place to learn about swaps and CDOs? I know the basics, but I really want to see how "deep the rabbit hole goes". Where do I read about how these things are put together, how they are valued, how they are traded, etc.?
Join an investment bank or a buy side firm. Buying swaps and writing complex derivatives contracts are out of the domain of 99.9% of retail investors and you won't be able to find ways to execute these type of trades from your ETrade/ Robinhood/vanguard brokerage because their aimed at retail investors. Not to mention the collateral and cash equivalents needed to trade those types of products are in tens of millions of dollars.
>>1323803
I actually want to learn about these in order to join an investment bank or hedge fund. Don't they require knowledge about these derivatives before you join them?
Just watch The Big Short dude Margot Robbie and Selena Gomez will explain it to you

When will no-coiners learn?
>>1322377
Is no-coin a new ICO?
Because I'm in.
>>1322377
nocoiners will be forever clueless to the opportunity presented before their very eyes. Thats why they shall remain poor and ignorant for the rest of their worthless lives
>>1322377
Replace Ethereum with Monero for that last one. Also I thought cryptos are meant to be like digital gold so idk about the fiat section but yeah no-coiners are never going to make it.
