there are a few ways.. you can create a better job within your company if you have a set of skills that can be applied, and you can convince a manager to greenlight it. you can create a better job for yourself, like freelance design, marketing, etc. get creative
the easiest way is to know someone though. start looking for people you know that can connect with all kinds of people. for example, i meet regularly with an owner of an independent bookstore. he has the chance to talk to people of all levels of society; from meth heads to doctors and lawyers, juvenile delinquents...

Bitcoin mining is largely unprofitable now.
It MAY be worth mining with an ASIC with Litecoin, Eth, or one of the others and doing it smartly.
This is of course assuming energy is cheap where you live, or some other source.

all of those poor countries will be switching to ethereum in the next 5 years because of it's functionality that will allow for purchases to be made with homemade credit cards or retinal scans or whatever else anyone wants to write on the platform.
