I have $197.72 in my savings. Should I buy all the Bitcoin I can with that much? Convert my bank cash to bitcoins?
>>1337500
If $197.72 is all you have in savings you should be worried about saving more
>>1337500
You should put in a ponzi scheme
>>1337500
>I have $197.72 in my savings
>$197.72

Buy kneepads. Otherwise, put it all in livestock.
How do I read this graph properly?
I've decided to invest 4500 dollars in bitcoin. Some random dude on /pol/ recommended me to use bitstamp.com, I registered myself and everything, but when I went to trade I got this.
Since I know I'm not experienced I won't even try to do some scalping, just wait few days until it gets "low" again to buy some.
Any tips are welcome.
(example, how low is low, how much time you think I should hold my bitcoins before selling them back in, etc.)
>>1337487
that theres more selling pressure which would indicate that theres too many people in a position which means in order to make money, you have to short and move price down. expect to see 575 tested
>>1337487
I got it, thanks, anon. When do you think it's a good time to invest my money?
Also, as you might have noticed, I'm as inexperienced as it gets. The money I'm invest won't make any difference to me, but of course, nobody likes to lose money.

Hey /biz/, I'm trying to sign up for a credit card today and so I can start building my credit, but I have no idea which one to choose from.
What was your first credit card? Would you recommend it to first time credit card owners?

Is there any way to get rich in the world while being left-brained. It seems like I've been fucked for life. Who's dick do I have to suck to get into the entertainment business? How the fuck is someone like me supposed to survive in this boring ass world?
>>1337427
>while being left brained
*right-brained my bad
>left brained
Non scientifica bullshit
>survive in this boring ass world
Sound like you are just retarded
>>1337427

"I regret it, being finance major myself"
What did he mean by this?
He meant that investing is not something you can learn at school, if it was, everyone would be rich who goes to school, and people who lived before the current education system couldn't have gotten rich. The idea that you have to go to school cuz you can't learn or think on your own is a liberal propaganda.
He means you should get lucky with the trade of your life then live off internet revenue as a meme.

Oh so that means I can lean on my own and get a job at a hedge fund?
Cool!
Any Dutch/Flemish people here who filled in the DEGIRO "passendheidstoets" (appropriateness test) and/or can point me to the answers/study guide?
I haven't opened it yet, because I don't know if you only get one shot at it.
>>1337258
i opened an english degiro account (or opened an account in english anyway) and the appropriateness test just asks you what your knowledge of trading is, i.e. are you a professional, a finance student, self-taught or newb. you're also asked if you have traded before, what your income is and what your savings/worth is.
if i'm thinking of the same process, there is nothing to study, they just want to know info about you.
>>1337397
Oh k, I thought it was like a government thing where they had to make sure you were at least somewhat competent.
Can the information you fill in in any way limit your capabilities on the platform?
>>1337258
Ik denk dat het een hoop bullshit is. I wouldn't use their service, why should they know your info, it's your money, I'm still waiting for Robinhood to come to Europe. In the mean time read books and generate revenue with other ways
I'm currently majoring in mechanical engineering
What field am I most likely to make the big buckeroos?

Pajeet and Zhang have ensured those two things won't ever go together again. Your only hope is to use enginneering as a springboard to management.
Can anyone explain what is happening here?

Where are the threads where you gloat about how much money you made, /biz/?
Where are the pictures of loads of cash and timestamps?
Not myself as I buy and hold but typically you just sell it the same way you bought it through an exchange or do it through localbitcoins.
I don't trust most of the banking, and crypto banks. What websites do you use to buy and sell cryptos and stocks?

Uhh.. I just wanted to know my own hashpower for mining.. if that's okay.
pay the ether price because the bitcoin mining reward is being cut in half next month and every 4 years. that reason is a good one.

I can't tell if this board is just a very well developed shit post machine or if you guys are actually making moves in your life. Either way, I'm interested.
I'm currently going to college, but I'm home for the summer and I'm having a hard time finding work. I'll occasionally get work with a temp agency I've worked with for a few years, but my last assignment with them was two weeks ago. I planned on making about 5k to pay for housing, but with the way things are shaping out, I'd be happy with 3. What would be a good way to supplement...

The vast majority of people on /biz/ are young NEETs with pretty much no money to their name, and I'm not just saying that, there's been plenty of surveys done to show it.
what the fuck is the point in saving?
isn't interest just a premium that other people pay you for being and idiot and leaving your money untouched during the time you're healthy, young etc?
up to a certain degree you are right
and then you are old, unemployed and need to rely on food stamps
>>1336993
too cutie

To invest, you should save.
