Yo /biz/, a couple months back I was on here asking for insight. I had just moved from the left coast and had no job, no car, and was living on the couches of old ladies I met at a church. I had about $60k in savings and most here were telling me to simultaneously go fuck myself and buy ETH. I ended up buying a used car, getting a 15yr mortgage on a decent house, and work a comfy job in outside sales. I'll be turning 22 in August and starting community college in fall.
Anybody else feeling good about the near future?
Unless that house was below 120K, you cant afford a house right now. You'll be bankrupt in 7 years.
>>1343750
Overall cost of purchase was 115k. My monthly pay varies with commission and I can easily make the mortgage. I plan on renting this place out in the future.
What will you be studying at community college?
>Trumpcoin
>Lisk
>ETH
Do any of these have any inherent value whatsoever?
What can I do with these crypto """""""""""currencies"""""""""" that I can't do with bitcoin (besides shilling on /biz/ in order to pump and dump)?
>>1343604
Stay poor if you can't google
Hint: one of them has value
>>1343604
Does gold have any inherent value?
Everything only has value because people want it and want to pay for it.

How is that a meme? Staying any later than that causes you to risk ending up a disgusting, shameful NEET.

>Over 40 sales in less then 2 weeks
>literally only 1 feedback
Any other ebay bros? Just started my ebay business I'm very happy im having sales but people not leaving feedback bums me out.
>>1343445
You are doing great making 20 sales a week. I average about 4 per month. Feedback is not really as big as it was when eBay first started. Took me almost 4 years to get to 100 this time around.
What are you selling?
>>1343445
General eBay rule: no feedback is no bad feedback.
It could be worse. You could sent out reminders , or what other sellers do is put some inexpensive sweets in the delivery with a "rate me" sign. Careful thought, might backfire depending on what goods you sell to whom.
Hey, /biz/, I'll spare the blogging and cut to the numbers. I'm currently 20 years old and looking to finish an Applied Mathematics degree by age 23.
Trying to fit into normal society isn't working, so I'd like to return to recluse mode and live out the rest of my days online as soon as financially possible. Here's my estimated list of expenses.
Home: $100,000
Property tax: $75,000 for 50 years though property tax shouldn't even be legal but whatever.
Car: $25,000, 5-year maintenance cost included.
Bicycle: $500 if I'm...

Best of luck
>>1343180
>Live with your parents.
I can't stand them, so it's not much of an option. Plus, I probably won't find work where they live.
>home: $100,000
Where the hell is this?
I'm 18 and gonna start a "computing" course in college. I live in England. It will take 2 years to finish. How useful is this and where will it get me, I have no fucking idea what I'm doing.
>>1343123
You will learn stuff about computers that you could have learned for free on the internet.
Depending on the course, there might be advanced notice about job openings or some course focused employment event.
So you're spending two years and a bunch of pounds to maybe get a leg up on getting a job with computers.
>>1343129
What should I do after? Am I supposed to go to university or what? And yeah it's free, I'm not paying anything. Any idea how much I could be earning or if I could even find a job after finishing the college course?

What a fucking idiot
I inherited a bunch of vending machine parts and stuff about 6 months ago and have been selling off part by part on eBay. I've sold about 50 items and have had 6 buyers attempt to scam me. I take down the serial number and take numerous photos of everything I sell. 4 of them bought an item from me and tried to return the broken one they were replacing claiming it was the one I sent. Other 2 stripped smaller parts from what they go and tried to send it back as incomplete.
My question is, everytime this happens my paypal gets frozen and I've got to deal with...

I did do that buy the most recent guy now is just claiming "damaged in shipping" and the shipping company declined the claim because it obviously wasn't. So eBay paid him and took it out on me.

Are you an American or what?
if you've got a total net worth of 800k at 26 years old you're more successful than most of the people on here. keep saving to invest, live sensibly ect.
in terms of getting a degree it depends where you live. if you've already got a business(multiple) it would make sense that whatever you learn should go to enhancing your business income. rather than taking on a career.
what sort of businesses do you own?

There are plenty which are mirrors of the S&P and they've all been getting mad gains.

So I was looking into getting started with a cloud mining service, namely genesis mining. Just looking to start out small. I'm fairly new to the whole crypto currency market. I've come here looking to see what you guys might think of it and if there might be any advice you could offer.
Anyone?..I just want to know if I'm being stupid about this or if this is honestly the only way to go..
It's prob not worth it. Still better than mining yourself tho
I too am curious about this. I know the hash ocean want to know what about genesis? Bitrapids?
Get in on this OGI ride to the moon. Price went down to $1.01 per share with all the Brexit news. It just got licensing to sell oil extracts and should go up big time when Weed man legalizes it.

I'm looking at buying my first house and I'm wondering if I should get another credit card before I go the bank looking for a loan.
I currently have only one credit card with a pretty low limit. I got it a few years ago for the sole purpose of building credit. Usually just a couple of small purchases a month, and then I pay it off in full. If I get a second one it will used identically.
I have decent credit but from what I understand, the 'more' credit you have available, the higher your credit score.
What does /biz/ think?
Unless you have 20% to put down on a house you arent ready and cant afford one.
>>1342622
The way you get a loan is by having long term savings and can pay 20% of the deposit upfront
Hey /biz/!
I'm the guy that sold 2/3 of his stock before the brexit vote.
Just wanted to let you know that I used half of that money to buy some netflix at $85.15/sh.
I think we hit the bottom today.
Happy trading!
>>1342608
>Nope.
Okay my theory for the US markets is this.
On friday the stocks overall went down, but not by as much as it should because of people buying the dips. Monday US markets are down again but at 260 down on the DOW it is practically a normal down day. Markets on tuesday should be up slightly.
Now netflix itself is undervalued at these levels. The worldwide expansion will be reflected in the next couple of earnings. I think it hits 150/sh in two earnings reports.
Netflix bubble is going to burst.
If they want to continue to be profitable they're going to have to either increase prices or start putting ads in. Either action is going to cause a hit to their total subscribers. They'll float for a while, but unless they do a complete restructuring, they're going to tank.
Shill your stocks elsewhere
my car is starting to have transmission problems. its got 180k miles on it, needs new tires, new belts, will need new brakes before the winter, has some exhaust problems so may need a new catalytic converter soon too.
i havent had a car loan in 7 years, and when i did, i payed it off in half the time that i was suppose to. my credit right now sucks though because i used my credit cards to pay for my last two semesters of tuition (so $9.5k of $12.5k credit taken). by the end of the summer i will have all my debt paid off, but i dont think i have that long to get a new...

Get a rebuilt tranny with warranty and etc etc
still cheaper than buying a new car
or if you get full coverage, sideswipe a bridge before hitting a pole
>>1342539
Why are you looking for validation?
Your car is fine and you just want to justify wasting money on a new one don't you.
>>1342539
>transmission problems
get that shit fixed asap, transmissions are a bitch to deal with
>its got 180k miles on it
depending on the car and the maintenance performed, it can easily get another 100k miles
>needs new tires
don't skip out on tires, m8, otherwise you're in for a bad time.
>belts
that comes with regular maintenance and high miles, buy them...

How do I combine business with outdoor nature, /biz/?
What business is there to be made in a forest and a farming area near a forest?
>>1342481
Mushroom foraging/hunting. Sell them.
tree farm, plant some valuable species of trees, wait around for 10 to 20 years and have a logger pay you thousands for it.
plus in the mean time you can eat all the animals that live in it
You can plant ginseng and make a bunch of money or plant good valuable hardwood trees and let a logging company pay you for them in 10 years. Try both.
