I fell into a festive coma last time this thread was up so here we go again.
The aim of the list is to ultimately be definitive and is predominantly formed by general consensus. I have shown on numerous occasions that I am more than happy for my personal opinion to be overridden by the mob except in circumstances where the mob hasn't got a fucking clue what they're on about. I have made a few additions and alterations from the previous list based on what I observed between me going AWOL and the old thread 404ing.
Enjoy...
So weit, so gut.
don't you shit talk my Sabu.

What ethnicities do you think are the most predisposed to combat/fighting sports? Before you jump the gun and cause autism you do have to admit there are some ethnic groups that tend to be over represented in combat sports (MMA, Boxing, Wrestling, Olympic martial arts). What ethnic group is naturally best at fighting? My vote goes to Chechens or other Caucasus peoples.
>>864314
Yup, russians are generally tough motherfuckers and strong fighters in all full contact martial arts.
That said I've also seen some 6.4 ft black guys full of muscles, guys I would definately not like to have trouble with. But I'm not that familiar with african tribes, there are probably some regions where the bulky people live and some where the marathon lanklets come from.
Also Sweden has some big guys (for me).
The ethnic group naturally best at fighting is the ethnic group that's naturally most intelligent.
Given that height, weight, body composition, body proportions, body type, strength, speed, and stamina, are all the same,
what determines the better fighter is the knowledge and skill of martial arts.
How efficiently one develops skill and knowledge is based on intelligence.

So that's the reason why most pro boxers have at least a degree in math?
Alright anons, so I'm gonna start going to a wrestling school soon and I'm rather excited. So I'd like to start a thread I've never seen before. A gimmick ideas thread. Lets get these creative juices flowing, I'll share a few of my ideas too.
>I'll share some of my own
>doesn't post his ideas
>he sits there hoping for gimmick ideas so he can steal them to get over
nope, Benoit yourself, my ideas are money.
So, i havent been following wrestling for several years (more or less since edge retirement) who are the best / most popular WWE wrestlers and Divas now?
I have been reading somethings, but maybe you guys can help, thanks

Sting is injured.
>>868126
This would be shit, they both need younger guys to do the work of their matches at this point, 15 years ago it would have been awesome but not now.
>>868172
Pretty much this. It'll be TNA's Sting vs Flair tier
you now remember bunkhouse buck

Just a reminder that wrestling is real, faggots
>christians
>muslims
>hindus
>etc.
like anyone in the history of anything has ever been bothered by something not being "real"
Besides, you take a ball, two groups of people, two metal frames with net around them, and have the groups kick the ball and try to get it to go in through one of the metal frames... where's the "reality" in that?
Is that Jeb Bush?
I've been thinking about getting into air soft. What's everyone's opinion on it? I'm pretty fit as I already go to the gym but I imagine it's still a pain running around and keeping your eyes peeled but it's hell of a fun sport to play I heard.
gay
The activity is kinda fun, but can be boring sometimes. The people are...interesting. About 30% obese white dudes with neckbeards, 30% older vets trying to relive their glory days, 30% normal folks between the ranks of "in shape" and "DYEL twig," and 10% is pre-teens in their dad's motorbike helmet and ski goggles talking about how it's just like CoD.
Much like any other alternative activity, if you can get over how ridiculous it is you can have fun.
>>868288
It's fun if you don't take it seriously, now go where you belong.
Admit it, if he was on good terms with the company and came out as a surprise entrant in the rumble, you would mark the fuck out
Is there any news of when he's lined up to get destroyed in the UFC? That should hurry up his return.
>>868195
>Every star is injured
>wwe raiding the indys and buying top draws everywhere
He could have done it, he could have main evented WM
>>868195
I'd mark out even if he was still with WWE and never left.
Could a good Judoka feasibly register in a local greco-roman wrestling tournament and do well? Is there a lot of overlap in the training and skills of the two styles (we often hear that Judo is greco-roman with a gi, but how true is that?) pic related
>>868193
Worth a shot, just for the experience alone, but don't expect to get very far unless you've got previous wrestling experience. The absence of a gi significantly alters grip fighting, set-ups and throw selection. Scoring and groundwork's different too.
>>868235
how is the groundwork different?
>>868240
If I'm correct
>can't touch legs with hands on the ground
>reversals - escape from back take - score a point
>pin rules are slightly different
Don't know for sure if turning over an opponent in itself will score points like in freestyle, but I think it does.
Can I post about water sports here?
>>868183
Sure. Just don't expect your thread to survive the wrestling spam.

Christian's '05 theme is by far my favorite of all time. Still get chills listening to it.
My current favorite would have to be Heath Slater's or Jack Swaggers.
