For quite a while I've thought archery looked like fun. I'm not the most physically fit, I know, shocker, and I've been looking for something to help get me to get up a bit more. I've tried my hand at knife throwing, which is actually really fun, but it strains my back and I'm not in the best condition for that. Don't know if I ever will be. I wanted to start cheap, in case i didn't like it that much.
Got myself a bear titan which is a sturdy, universal 30 # beginners bow around 40 usd.
I shoot it in the backyard in a range of about 30 to 35 yards.
It's good and fun and i enjoy it but a replacement string and 3 decent arrows to achieve some good results were as much as the bow itself.
