Why is Female MMA more successful then other Woman's sports?
Maybe it's because you get the shit kicked out of you if you don't develop at least some skill.
Successful in what regard?
Who will be the next wrestler released by WWE?
Someone from NXT.
Hopefully Elias Samson.
Sandow
Kidd, Barrett and Mark Henry will be gone or retired by the end of the year too

OK, /asp/. How would you book Shane vs the Undertaker in Wrestlemania? How would the match go?
Hard mode: You can't replace Shane with a wrestler as his representative.

Post trips
Back in late January there was a leak for HOF this year, I was quick to push it off at first but its looking more likely now with 2 out of 6 people being confirmed
Sting
JBL
Jacquline
Freebirds
Regis Philbin
Godfather
godfather was just confirmed by WWE.Com
>>1009851
The Freebirds aren't in yet?
I'd go Molly Holly over Jacquline, since she was more important historically but Jacquline was there first and I'd rather see the Hollys go in together even if they're not really a family
Also it's nice to see the WWE take care of the not as famous worker divas, they had the monster task of making various model stiffs look good
>>1009967
well jacquline started of in WCCW and is from the dallas area so it would make sense for her to go in this year. .
I thought JBL was already in the hof
Long story short, I'm considering joining a local kendo dojo to help with conditioning and just for fun.
I'm noticing the armour is as expensive as fuck.
Does anyone here practice kendo, would you recommend it to your average person, and why?
Also, how long does this thousand dollar suit of armour last, goddamn?
Any fun kendo stories other than
>I hit him first, shit was so cash
Just go along and use club kit until you love it enough to commit money.
>>997577
Yeah, that's the plan. Apparently there's a fairly reasonable amount of time between joining, needing the clothes, and needing the armour.
The armor should last you forever if you take decent care of it, it's hard to damage while practicing correctly. I've been running my $600 set for 10 years now no problem.
I love kendo, but I don't know how average people really think of it. I only started it because I'm basically swordsexual and thought it was cool to begin with.
Would escrima help my fighting in any way? I've trained in boxing, karate, muay, judo and sambo and I'm now in a situation where escrima is available to me. The place seems pretty good, genuine pinoy tuhon with national champs coming down semi regularly to take classes and such.
My main question is if there's anything escrima has that can add to my fighting besides the weapons stuff
>>996506
It'd probably make you better at escrima
>>996506
its a lot of fun
you can also translate armed skills to unarmed combat
if you have a chance to do it at a good place for a good price i'd definitely go if i were you
>>996506
You'll probably learn one or two things you can add to your unarmed toolbox, but no, eskrima is for weapons.
The upside is, it's weapons that are commonly available and easily improvised Everyone should carry a knife, and you can find a stick anywhere. So eskrima is good to know if you really get in a bad situation (assuming you don't carry a gun.)

>What boots should I get?
It is extremely important to get boots that fit you well and to have them heat moulded. Therefore, it is very important to go to a professional bootfitter (not just a ski shop, but specifically a bootfitter). For a list of reputable bootfitters, refer to epicski.com/wiki/boot-fitters-on-epicski
You can also consider getting custom footbeds for increased comfort and performance. If you are a beginner this is not that important (though getting boots from a bootfitter is), but if you are an advanced-expert skier it will make a big difference.
>Why is it so important to go to a bootfitter?/I went to a bootfitter and still have a problem, what's wrong?

>What bindings should I get?
The most important things to consider with bindings are DIN range and brake width. Your DIN should be around the middle of your binding's DIN range. For example, if you ski with a DIN of 7, a 4-12 binding would be good for you. A 1-7 or a 7-16 would be bad. If you don't know your DIN, look up a DIN chart.
The brake width should be approximately equal to the waist of the ski. It's better for the brake to be a little smaller than a little bigger (ski shop techs can bend the brakes when they mount the bindings), but if you go more than 7mm or so smaller the brakes might not fit well. Going up to about 10mm wider on the brakes is alright too as long as you don't carve really aggressively.
