I major in film at college and I also studied a bit about the business of film. I'm no expert, but from its history I have a hypothesis of why this feud has failed both in the financial and critical departments.
Simply put, WWE gambled too much with a director who doesn't know how to make a good in-ring story. If you look at his history, Styles is definitely more competent in making moves look great than telling an actual story. If WWE got rid of PG, would they suffer for it financially?
Plenty of kids watched when it wasn't PG because most parents generally don't give a shit when they hear the word wrestling.
I gather they would lose out on some of their sponsors but I think they could easily make up for it with the benefits of non-PG television.
Maybe just have Smackdown remain PG even.

If the ratings went up enough for them to get equally high paying sponsors they'd be fine.
The problem is they can't put on a good enough TV show to do that, PG or non-PG.
What striking/grappling combo is best suited for beating the shit out of drunk people at bars? I want to be a bouncer for this local place but I would like to have some sort of training background. Obviously I wouldn't be able to use weapons, and I'm not terribly large (5'9" king of manlets) so something that could help me take out larger opponents would be ideal
