The last 3 Royal Rumbles have been exhibitions on increasingly desperate ways to get Roman Reigns over.
>2014 he breaks Kane's record for number of people eliminated in 1 Rumble
>2015 he wins it to deafening boos after the crowd turns hostile after Bryan is eliminated early. Not even the Rock can rub off any cheers onto Roman
>2016 he is thrown into an unjust situation where he has to defend his title from the 1 spot and is ambushed midway through. He then takes 20 spots off...

Hello, I just started AFF and I was looking for advice, tips, tricks, and stories.
First jump went ok enough, little bit of a hard landing, but not so bad.

He will come, every popular indie darling eventually does
I would go over anybody on this board.
I wouldn't even need you to put me over, I'd blow your ass up myself and pin you clean.
Don't wanna sell? That's fine, just don't let me hear you bitching to Vince after I stiff you so hard you piss yourself in the ring.
I would be a top guy after one year while you're still jobbing to midcarders.

>Triple H headlined the most financially successful WrestleMania of all time with over 100k fans present.
>He singlehandedly saved WrestleMania with said match and even put the next face of the WWE over in the match.
/asp/ cannot refute this
Just because the most people showed up didn't make it the most successful. It cost more than probably any other Mania and it didn't get shit for PPV buys.
Plus, even Romanmark can't say that match was good, it was arguably the worst of the night (only saved by Lesnar v. Ambrose sucking total ass).

>>Triple H headlined the most financially successful WrestleMania of all time with over 100k fans present
Only because he booked himself in it
>>1378648
Basically. Its interesting how he all of a sudden started headlining shit and was the "WWE" rep vs Sting when he was able to book himself.
But should the WWE retire the character?
It sounds retarded, but people always talk about "the next undertaker" in people like Bray Wyatt and Finn Balor.
What if they just doubled down on the supernatural aspect of The Undertaker, and did a soul transfer angle?
Is it do-able? Or is it just completely asinine?
Will there ever be another Undertaker?
I think it'd work as well as fake Diesel or fake Razor Ramon did.
The Undertaker isn't like James Bond. I mean, sure, the Undertaker's a character in the WWE universe but the character can't be separated from the man portraying the character in the way a character like James Bond could be any actor cast in the role.
For a couple of times on this board I've suggested a "Vince McMahon vs. Undertaker" as the final match, perhaps with some kind of "freeing Undertaker's spirit from WWE/McMahons" -angle.
No one would expect any kind of high flying match out of that on, so it would be easy on Undertaker's already strained physique. Plus, it would totally avoid the question of "putting over new talent".
They could even both declare a total "double-retirement from wrestling" after that.
>>1378468
Oh, and to the question of "should the character retire?".
Yes.
Undertaker's character has already gone through so many redesigns over the years (though most not as obvious as the Bikertaker thing) that they should just let it be now.
With all the rehashes and returns, the character is way too firmly tied to Calaway.
Find a flaw.
wrestled the same match for 20 years

>WWE announcer Jerry Lawler was in attendance at the 38th annual Superman Celebration in Metropolis, Illinois. According to a fan in attendance who spoke with Lawler, he said that WWE was planning to have two PPV events monthly after the new brand extension starts. The format would be one PPV event for Raw and one for Smackdown.
