>notice a small spider crawling up the sleeve of my jacket
>I watch as it crawls to my shoulder
>suddenly stops moving
>then scurries fast as fuck to the inside of the hood of my jacket
>I try to get rid of it by placing my finger in front of it

>spider ignores my finger and continues to lounge in my hoodie
It eventually crawled out, but then made it's way onto my backpack
>spider claims my backpack for its own
>slip backpack off and try to get it to leave by gently prodding it

>I then notice a very thin, shiny thread coming from its abdomen
>little shit is trying to spin a web on my backpack
>logic kicks in
>flick the spider off of my backpack
>it lands on the concrete
>it scurries away, probably to find another backpack to conquer

>last summer
>want a jumping spider to keep on my work desk
>have a nice 1g or so tank for betta fish that someone gave me
>make little stoppers where the holes are out of duct tape
>find a large-ish spider at a gardening store
>all set up going well for 2 weeks
>suddenly stops coming out of its sleeping bag for food
>1 week later still hasn't eaten, figure i'll set it outside soon
>did acid that night, sitting in front of monitor
>tiniest little black dot descends between monitor and my face
>realize its spider, not sure if spider is from drugs or real
>start seeing them pretty frequently, not sure whats happening, can't think straight so go to sleep
>wake up next morning finally put 2 and 2 together
>spider tank is filled with babies, plugs weren't tight enough to keep them in
>let them all go outside later that day
>back in early 90's
>went with my dad and brother to some week-long camp
>notice a hairy spider on the ground
>dad tells me in fascination it's a wolf spider
>it's about as big as an average person's hand
>get closer to it
>it gets nervous
>jumps on my dad's leg (wearing pants I think)
>he just let's it chill there for a bit
>spider eventually jumps off
I had no idea wolf spiders were really dangerous to us, but still cool to see them it jump
