Is it a good idea to add plants from outside to vivariums? Will it harm my tarantulas/scorpions?

I found these from my backyard, , my terrariums mostly have ferns and pothos but I thought I might add some small stuff as fillers/diversity I just dont know if its a no no, can someone ID them out of curiosity anyway?
>>
It's very likely that they won't grow well indoors.

Don't. Parasites, mites, disease, you know - all that good stuff.
Grow plants from seed in baked soil if you really need them.

Adding outdoor plants to your vivariums is typically a bad idea, however if you decide to do it make sure the plants are processed correctly first.

Copied from the NEHERP website (this is the method I have used in the past):

Vivarium Plant Processing Step-By-Step

1) Carefully bare root the plant (remove ALL dirt from the roots)
2) Soak the plant in water for 10-15 minutes to ensure it will absorb as much water as possible
3) Submerge the plant in a diluted bleach solution for 2-3 minutes
>3a) The type of bleach you have will determine how to dilute it.
>3b) For typical 5% concentrate household bleach, use 1 1/4 cups per gallon of water
>3c) For 8.25% concentrate/germicidal bleach, use 3/4 cup per gallon of water
4) Rinse the plant thoroughly with water to completely remove the solution (soak if necessary)
5) Once it's been very well rinsed, your plant is now ready for planting in a vivarium; worry free!

I used this method when I added a "moses in the cradle" to my Vivarium, a plant which I took from outdoors, and I never had any problems.

Good luck!

I feel like the worse that I could be told is that they may have outside pesticides that lingers among the plants despite not using such thing recently

Also the three plants in your OP pic I believe are Prostrate Spurge.

It's a weed, I'm not sure why you'd want it in your Vivarium but I guess if you like who am I to judge.
>>
>>2159337
I just thought it might be easy and free to get small weeds to add diversity in my vivariums, didn't really want them to grow or spread
>>2159331
again I didn't planned to have them grow more or spread more, I know they arent that nice though so I itd suck if they got uglier due to bad growing conditions
>>
>>2159333
Thanks, these weeds arent worth that but theres a pond near by and I wanted to do a paludarium so if the process is the same this is very helpful, Or if i do find a nicer plant eventually
>>
Now that I got my answers this should become a general vivarium + plants thread for advice/discussion until it dies, thanks guys

Or you could have just checked for an existing plant general like this onehttp://boards.4chan.org/an/thread/2155459#q2155459one
Before you made your fucking thread.

You do know that you can crosslink threads, right?

Left plant looks like a very young smilax aspera or some other smilax. It's soft when young, but hardens pretty fast and grows nasty thorns, annoying ass weed. Wouldn't put it anywhere near animals, pretty sure the red berries it produces are poisonous.

I see you got the ID on the right ones too. They spread pretty fast so I wouldn't advise putting them inside your vivarium too.
