Nothing except try to calm her down
Help
All I can say is Google for it, I've never experienced that but if you want fast answers you'll have to try something while you wait for answers here.
There are these new amazing things that just came out. They are called VETERINARIANS (vet-uhr-air-ee-ans). These veterinarians (often shorten to "vet") are special kinds of doctors that treat animals like dogs and cats instead of people!!! Now youno longer need to post on an anonymous image board for Chinese porn cartoons! You can take your dog to a " vet" to receive helpful advice and medical care for Fido!!!
I know these "vets" are very new things, but I encourage you to use the Google to find a"vet"!!!! All you have to do is type into Google "veterinarian near me" and call them!!!!

I went to the vet but she said it wasn't bad enough to put her on medication, I just want something I can do at home to stop/shorten the attacks
Any ideas?

My pup has the same issue. The only thing you can do during an episode is to try to calm them down. Usually cuddling and cooing at her gets my pupper through it pretty quickly.
