I was cleaning out my closet today and found my rock collection from when I was a kid. I kind of want to start collecting them again. Anyone know some good stores or places (I live in GA) I can buy or find cool rocks/minerals?

Alabama has a lot of mineral deposits... There are some fossil outcrops in Chattanooga, supposedly there are shark teeth fossils in GA but havent gotten around to looking for them

Mineral and gem shows. Find your local mineral club. They usually list upcoming events in your area on their website. You'll pay double at any store and you can never be sure what you'll get from some bastard in China on eBay. But be prepared to be raped anyway. There isn't anything in your pic related you could get for less than 1k except maybe the sugar geode, and some like the topaz or the stibnite, if that's what they are, both over 10k for specimens of that size and quality.
