Found it in a trafficated street. We don't know what animal it is, and how to feed him. We are in center italy. Any advice?

Until your local wildlife centre or vet can pick it up keep it a cardboard box with some paper towel in it, cover the box with a towel or something so it's dark (make sure air can still get in) and keep it somewhere quiet.
There's not much else you can really do.
