If you're feeding the right kind of bones for your dog then it's not an issue, but this is an instance where people neglect to conduct the proper research.
It's the exact same scenario with people who feed Beneful or Pedigree, then act surprised when their dog dies at eight from organ failure. If a person is responsible for the care of any living creature, it is that person's obligation to research what it takes to make sure every single one its needs are met. Now it gets a little complicated in pet food, because unfortunately the food industry has brainwashed the veterinary community into shilling cheap sub-par food that has not been proven to provide proper nutrition to sustain pets as long as it should, all because cheap pet food is insanely profitable to these huge food conglomerates. If the average consumer were to seek out a nutrition specialist, however, they would receive better advice as to how to feed a healthy, balanced diet.

I have tried alot, pigs ears last 30 seconds and he wont touch synthetic. I will not give the dogs rawhide.
