No. If anything it's the best thing for them. You can have a space outside for them to play around in if you have that available but if not it's fine.

Not really. Some cats really don't like it outside, or want to be outside for like 20 minutes to take a sun bath.

Raise it at the vet
our old cat was an outside cat before he died. he would go in and out as he pleased, our current cats sometimes make a break for the door when its opened but they always come back. i think it just depends on the cat.
