Curlies look to me like they've been singed in a barn fire. This one has halfway decent conformation, though. So she's got that going for her, which is nice.

My ex had a Bashkir Curly (pony), super cute looking animal but the horse constantly rubbed his mane off so it looked patchy and bald. I wasn't crazy about horses but I admired a few of them for their unique personalities. The lesson I learned from that experience was: Horses are expensive and girls who love horses are some of the most passionate people I've met.
On a side note, I hope to adopt some donkeys one day as I connected easier with them.

>narrow-gauge metal noseband

>super-narrow poll strap on the bridle (used in conjunction with a curb bit)
"Ah luhv dis mule! He such a good boy!"
How long does a mule live? Does it live longer than a horse?

Combination gag hackamore bit with some extra twine across the nose and the padding removed from the steel noseband. Surprised they don't also have his mouth clamped shut with a caveson. Hey, why not wrap the steel noseband with wire while you're at it. Christ on a crutch. Wonder what the mule did to deserve that bit.

Mules, as a whole, usually live a bit longer than horses. Hybrid vigor and all that. Maybe 5-8 years longer, on average.

mule ponies live ultra long.
