Hey I given a bird as a gift from a close friend, unfortunately I have no clue what it is. Hope someone can help me ID the creature so I can provide it with the care it needs and deserves.

I don't know what kind of parrot it is but it isn't a conure. Probably some 'parakeet' like an orange-chinned parakeet. I'm not very familiar with parakeet species.

It's a brotogeris but I'm not sure about the species. I'd say jugularis because of the orange chin.
