He usually doesn't wake me up unless he REALLY needs to go outside. Most of the time I guess he either waits for me or he'll just sleep until my alarm goes off.
When you're over 30 and you get 1 day a month to sleep in, but your dog is used to you waking up at 5:30 every day so he's sitting there licking your back before the sun is even up .... damn dog.

We had a gate at the stairway when she was little but we removed it like two months ago, she still acts like there is an impenetrable force field there, sometimes she'll maybe put her front legs on the first step and then look at me like she thinks she's being the most clever dog in the world committing the crime of the century

when i was in high school, my mom would send our dog in to wake me up every morning. having a 60+ pound dalmatian run full speed and jump on me claws-first taught me to get out of bed as soon as my bedroom door opened.

Had my dog for about 13 years, I got her when I was still living at home.
My mom taught him to pull away my covers when waking me up every morning and now 12 years later he's still doing it every single morning.
I don't hate it because after I've woken up he jumps up the bed and give me a morning cuddle.
