Could somebody help identify a plant from description?
It flowers like a sunflower but smaller and more intense with different colours. It has dark green waxy leaves which are slightly succulent and forms a short shrub. They grow and flower in autumn in a warm temperate climate if that helps.

I have a sizable Peace Lily and I'm worried about it. Leaves grow on it but it hasn't had a flower for a long time. Sometimes it gets brown, dried out sections on certain leaves. How do I help it?

I've done a number of woody grafts (mainly fruit) and T budding as part of my horticultural training (even got a snazzy tina knife for it) but never succulent or cactus grafts. Grafts can be deceiving and partially rejected grafts can just pop off after years of seemingly successful growth, particularly in woody species.

I will add a couple of things:
-About the watering: they have tendency to rot if they are always damp BUT they dehydrate so damn fast. Best thing you can do is try to figure out how much you should water them depending on your weather.
-They grow better when crammed together, I don't know why but it's true.
-You should pull them out of the substrate every year, they dig themselves to death.
-Flowering weakens them. A lot. And the flowers are ugly and the seedlings take an eternity to grow. Cut that shit off, they clone themselves anyway.
-Best substrates are 50% perlite or aquarium sand and 50% peat moss, 1/3 perlite, 1/3 peat, 1/3 pine leaves, dry sphagnum or, if you live in a moist area, live sphagnum which is what has given me better results.
-If you want a cultivar I'd only recommend sawtooth to start, the rest are a bit more delicate

they used to sell similar packages in a shop called the Action here, it was removed due to complaints because the seeds were never what the label said they were.
I actually recognize that pot and the type of soil from those packages, so it's likely the same thing.

I use turf/peat as soil.
I use de-mineralised water and rain water.
they need to be put in cooler for 4 months at the winter at 6° Celsius.
Do not poke the traps or put objects in it.
They require life bait and never put normal meat in the traps because that would rot.
Most Fly traps will catch their own food.
So place it outside, never below 15° Celsius.
They flower at a period from February to April.
You can remove the flowers by cutting it off as that would increase the growth of the traps.

Hey /plant/, I found this lil' bugger a short while after we had an old pear tree taken down in our garden. When I built my house I had to cut in to one side of the tree to make room for an addition. Once that was done I gave it a very deep prune. It takes about 5 years for a hard maple to fill back out, when it does it will look better.

That's what they look like after they've been topped and pruned down. It's actually pretty common where I live to do this in order to keep the trees out of power lines or too close to houses like mine. I guess that's why it doesn't bother me as much, I see it everywhere else.

At a guess, I'd say some sort of succulent Sedum variety. Nobody under the age of 60 can really justify being interested in non-cactus/lithops/interesting succulents though, so you might struggle to get a good ID on the internet.

I'm sure it would be a very easy plant, and any self-made hybrid will automatically be nice (I still haven't successfully made one, but I'd be proud of any shit combination that presented itself). And I don't know, most things beside overly-TCed ventrata, mixta, Miranda etc. should have decent fertility. Right, because robcantleyi already has big teeth so an extremely-toothy hamata compliments it nicely. Likewise, wide-peristomed ovata works nicely with RC, as does a deep red, slightly-toothy species like densiflora (pic related, not mine).

If it is a clump of newborns then that's quite odd because it has never spread like that before, you just get chicks sprouting all around the hens right in the ground or with stems.

those are petunias anon. Nice easy flowers. As another anon said, they wont come back next year, but I wouldnt bother re-potting them, they dont mind being root bound. Give them plenty of water, they are thirsty as a mofo in peak season (now), and deadhead spent flowers to prolong flowering time. Good luck!

Well, there goes my N. stenophylla. Just woke up to find it face-down on the ground, snapped clean off at the base of the stem. 2 years of solid growth, 16-inch leafspan, all to waste. Way too salty to take photos lads. All I can say is, make sure all pots are HUGE, heavy and oversized, and fuck cats.

It seems the only option for potted plants is to move them out of reach or lock them away. My fat bastard cat routinely devours my fake shamrock Oxalis (it's quite a sentimental plant) and the only way to save some of it is to move it high up. In his defense, it does taste quite nice.

I was trying a new substrate: Live moss on top, peat moss underneath, but to keep the moss alive like this I had to water them a lot, and the roots of some plants started to rot.
Then I moved them to moss 100% and it turned out that moss was rotten.
I moved them again to peat and sand, but overestimated how much humidity that mix could retain and they dehydrated.
That summer I lost 40% of my dionaea, the only cultivar that survived was half of a sawtooth.

Chill man. Plants need hardening off to take more light than they are used to. But they will rarely die from some burnt tips. My olive looks like shit after it baked a couple of months ago due to sudden sun. Had to move it outside for a sub-zero night to kill those cofee-something bugs. I've heard that B52 makes huge traps early season, then peters out later on in the summer. DC XL consistently makes large traps throughout the growing season. But I wouldn't know, I was content growing my typicals

And it´s absolutely not normal for any kind of nursery/plants tore to sell Myrmecodia, that´s why I HAD to get one
I walked past it at first, because it was not labled in any way.
But after passing thse Plants, I thought to myself "wait a second, I know what this is"
After inspecting a few, I even found two that were blooming, well, had bloomed shortly before, the flowers were white-transparent, that´s why I thought of beccarii
I should have taken more of them, considering they were relatively cheap.
I´m still thinking about going back for one or two more

Yeah I agree, Wistuba's probably your best bet, he seems to be a current authority on ant plants. You'll probably get a solid ID (assuming he's not on an expedition).
And I'd probably go back desu, they're an absurdly cool find and they presumably only ended up there through unfortunate or unusual circumstances on their part.
