My cat use to bring home rabbits, various rodents and big birds like ravens.
Don't judge a cat by it's size and most cats hunt for funzies since they are usually well fed, thats why they are popular pest control because they are sadists who enjoy hunting and torturing regardless of how well fed they are.

The majority of my cat's catches were never touched or eaten by the dog. The only time my cats ate their kill was when they had kittens, nothing more shocking as a kid to see your cute kittens covered in blood as they try and eat a rabbit.
