My mom owns a cat sanctuary for disabled cats and that includes a lot of cats that have been abused. A cat's limbic system is almost exactly like a humans as well

It all depends, here in Nevada we have tons of wasps that build little paper nests along the cheap generic wooden fences used to build all the houses here before the house market crashed.
If you get anywhere near their nests they will sting the fuck out of you. And we've had over a dozen nests along the fences in our backyard before.
But when they are far away chewing up plant stems to get the material to build their nests they are chill as fuck. I love poking their cute little abdomens when they are nibbling on our sunflower plants. They buzz around for a few seconds before settling back down.
