Well there would be some nervousness before identifying whether venomous or no, but small snek just sort of casually sliding over you is not a snek that is immediately thinking about biting. In that scenario it is more thinking you are a warm and weird smelling log. And sneks a cute.

snakes are a common phobia, whether harmless or not. Mostly because most people can't identify what's venomous or not, or fears of being constricted to death by wrapping around their necks.
That said, that snek is cute and pretty fucking radically looking

snek phobia is pretty easy to cure though. a lot of it is just lack of actual in person experience with snakes and television reinforcing the idea that snakes are big fat meanies made of pure evil.
i have turned around a couple snake phobics by just bringing out a docile snake like a ball python, letting them watch it for a bit, then plopping it on their lap. They're nervous for a minute or so and then notice that snek is just sitting there being adborable as ball pythons do, and then they're like "...oh. cute."
