Guys, my dog-pic related (it's an older pic though, she doesn't look that skinny anymore), just had puppies last night. I'm kind of freaking out and a little excited at the same time, but I didn't know she was pregnant! I feel really fucking bad for not knowing, what if we exercised her too much or something? I make sure to always feed her good food, but I'm not sure if it was enough.

The pups seem healthy though, and they all have a vet appointment tomorrow.

Shit guys, I don't know what to do. We were so careful to keep her inside when in heat, I don't even know how she got laid. It actually seems pretty fucking impossible to me, we've never once left her unsupervised and our backyard is completely fenced off with six foot high wood planks. There aren't any holes either, I checked. I don't understand how this fucking happened.

Why wasn't she spayed?

Me and my fiance decided to keep her intact till she was two years old, we actually had a spay appointment for next week.

Oh man...I don't know what to do with these little guys, look at how fucking cute they are!

Those look like very healthy puppies anon! Congratulations.

>>2093009
Thank you! I know I was irresponsible in letting her get pregnant, but I will make sure each and every one of these puppies has a lasting home and get them all spayed and neutered.

>>
>>2093007
this is why most people shouldn't wait to have their dog fixed, regardless of the health "benefits", most people are too incompetent to keep them from getting pregnant or impregnating a bitch

you must've left her unsupervised somewhere outside for this to have happened
>>
>>2093029
But that's what's so insane! she was never unsupervised while in heat!

You asshole, how dare you not take this completely seriously! I have two puppies missing! It's bad enough I didn't even know my dog was pregnant, but now you're going to sit there and laugh at my misfortune? Just get out of my thread if you're not going to help!

Jackass.
>>
>>2093121

Relax you idiot, they probably grew into adult dogs and went to go start their own dog families. Did you miss that day of biology class?

Would you like to pic one out? Here's a pic of the cute wittle babbies.

You should have already had her fixed. Yet, there's not a whole lot you can do about it now.

A male probably jumped the fence and mated when you weren't looking. Where there's a will, there's a way.

I'd take one in if my house wasn't already congested with rescues here. Just give them away but don't do it with people who you suspect keep reptiles. They will literally do anything to keep those shits.

I think all reptiles need one with the shovel.
>>
>>2093138
>blind hate to an entire class of animals

If anything you're the kind of person who I wouldn't give a dog to because of how utterly retarded that viewpoint is.
>>
>>2093140

Fine, you can view it that way.

People keep a "class" of reptiles that they have no experience with and then feed them large mammals.

Do not listen to reptile keepers. They're deranged and fully believe they're doing the right thing by keeping them in a tank, and feeding them crazy shit for no reason.
>>
>>2093141

To add- My father used to have a ball python but I convinced him to give it to the Portland Zoo. Fuck, why on earth do you need that thing?

He might have died later, Their lifespan is limited but fuck you if I'm having that thing around. Not that it matters now.

>this is why most people shouldn't wait to have their dog fixed

Kind'a have to agree with this. Our girl is 1 year old, due to have her bits cut out in 6 months. Our boy is 3 months old, and has to wait 2 whole years. We are a tad concerned about this. The boy will become sexually mature at 9 months, around the same time the girl is due to be fixed. Lots of bad situations could come up.

Point being, we're the type of idiot owners that end up with unwanted puppies.

But hey, at least they'll be AKC certified pure bred. Not some alley trash.

>To add- My father used to have a ball python but I convinced him to give it to the Portland Zoo.

No, you didn't. A ball python has been a common household pet for like 30 years. A zoo has no use for that. It's be like a Labrador next to the wolf exhibit.

>>2093141
>reptile keepers. They're deranged and fully believe they're doing the right thing by keeping them in a tank, and feeding them crazy shit for no reason.

I know it will blow you mind, but most reptiles are harder to keep alive and healthy than dogs. If you try to raise an emerald tree boa or frilled dragon and can make it past 2 years without a vet emergency, you've done a serious amount of reading and have your shit together. When an animal can get a prolapsed anus just from the air being dry, not just any idiot has one. And food is highly specific now. 50 frozen rats, disease free, vacuum sealed, flash-frozen, shipped to your home for $60. Organized and safer than the dry food from dog bags. Not remotely crazy.

>>2093144
>Their lifespan is limited but fuck you if I'm having that thing around.

I have one snake (pic of vicious dog-eater) with about 27 years left before it reaches the median lifespan. Limited, indeed. I have a few geckos with over 2 decades left to go, as well.

You really have no idea what you're talking about.
