My cat just got his balls clipped yesterday and no more than 5 minutes ago I went to check the spot for anything that could be wrong and this is what I saw. I'm already scrambling to find information (and all vets here are closed right now) so I figured posting a thread here couldn't hurt and might bear some fruit.
Any help is greatly appreciated, and if SOMEHOW this belongs on a different board, point me there.

some of these pictures aren't this good. we're keeping him still right now. he doesn't seem in pain but we're well aware that animals are good at masking it.

and here's the last one, there's some ozzing from the other lump where his balls once were, but nothing much else. We've tried to keep him calm so he wouldn't do stupid shit but he literally just fell missing his step before this happened.
your cat tore his stitches, take him back to the vet before he gets an infection. Also ask for one of those cones to go around his neck so he doesn't do it again.

that's what I was thinking. this is going to suck seeing it was a clinic that did it for free (and we've had a cat there before so they're good), but now i'm going to have to take him to an actual vet and there are none open till tomorrow.
Now I have to figure how to deal with the wound until then

if you have any safety pins around, you could jury rig a diaper out of a small towel. Make it just tight enough so he can't squirm out of it.

Not a bad idea.

Wait a minute. If he gets the shits and that gets ont he wound that's a certain infection. Guess he's getting a jury rigged nut hammock.

Did you put a diaper on him? Why did you put him in a diaper?

cat castrations shouldnt have stitches

the vet hasnt ligated the pampiniform plexus properly, mustve been a small cat and he just excised without ligating. it should be fine. nothing you can do now anyway, if the cat is fine.
