What do turtles look like when they leave their shells? I have never seen one. Is it as creepy as a hermit crab?
Joke's on you OP, those are butterflies in your image!
Like this OP.
They are very vulnerable so hardly ever seen by even experienced photographers

A turtle frog? come on, turtles are reptiles and frogs are amphibians, they cant breed.
>>2086262
like you would know, mr. doesn't-know-what-a-turtle-without-shell-looks-like
>>2086262
They can if you get 'em drunk enough trust me I have 5 PHDs
the shells are part of them anon, like most shelled animals. Only some creatures actually switch em up as they grow, and those usually use a shell that was made by another creature.
this might be a troll thread by eh, I'd rather write shit on /an/ than actually work
>>2086231
that's what they look like when they "leave" their shells

Never saw a turtle in person, I thought they were like snails and could leave their shells, but I should have known better you see slugs looking for shells all the time and never a naked turtle.

Are those orange balls eggs? Looks like little tangerines.
>>2087101
just the yolks probably but yes
>>2086231
>>2086746
Slugs and snails are different creatures as well. Snail shells grow with the snail so they never need new ones
>>2087367
Why's everyone saying slug are snails without shells then?
>>2087397
Because they're stupid
>>2087101
The orange balls are follicles, these would have developed into eggs
so yes, these are eggs...kind of
