I live in a small apartment. 36 square meters, in the middle of the city.

I'm very experienced with cats, think I could provide and take care of a kitty very well. I work from home too so it wouldn't be a lonely kitty.

Only concern of course is the small apartment space. Primarily due to cats being so excessively curious, and wanting to explore the area around them. So my fear is that every time I open the front door the cat tries to escape and then makes me chase after it, hiding under cars and stuff. Same for windows.

Is there any way around this issue?

Make use of vertical space to keep kitty happy.

don't open the door when the cat is close to it. get screens for your windows.
