Why?
>>2070897
Most cats don't like to be walked on leads.
Cats do what they want, not what they are told
The cat is overstimulated by the harness. My cat also shuts down completely if I put anything on her like that, so I gave up on harness training. Some cats are more easily overwhelmed than others and react to the stress by going limp.

Being overwhelmed < being a lazy shit
>>2070897
Because cats a shit
Because you have to leash train them

Each day that passes you only show us how deep you can shove your head into your colon

This. Leads stimulate the response to being carried by mom.

Not the same person. The first response yes. I like cats and think the gif is funny.
>>2070930
they are though
Those cats weren't harness trained properly. They're not dogs, you can't just throw a leash on them and start training. You have to spend a good week/couple weeks just letting them used to the feeling of a loose harness on their bodies.
cats usually don't walk on a leash like a dog. I put my cat on a leash, and he doesn't follow me like a dog would. I just hold the leash and let him sniff around, and give a little tug if he goes somewhere I don't want him to go.

die soon pls

Not when I'm around lol
i don't know for sure but I think it would be possible to train a cat to walk on a leash if you try enough times. Dogs don't automatically like leashes either, when my dog was a puppy and we tried to put a leash on him he reacted like the cats in OP's gif pretty much but eventually he realized the leash leads to fun

Only some cats.
Anecdotally, I have two cats. One was a feral kitten picked up from the streets at six weeks with three litter-mates and fostered out, which was how I came into contact with him. He is very nervous, and I can't do anything at all except let him be on his own terms.
The other cat was an owner-surrender to the SPCA at four weeks along with the mother and four littermates, and they were then fostered out, which is again how I came into contact with him. They all had cat flu, and my cat was the sickest. His eyes and nose were gummed shut, he lost a tremendous amount of weight, and then all his fur fell out. He was fairly touch-and-go for a while, and stayed at the foster home much longer than the other kittens while he regrew his coat.
Anyway, the second cat was decently socialised from a younger age, and is very friendly and not particularly nervy. As a result, I've been able to clicker train him to come, sit, heel, beg, stay, and jump up onto things on command.
Some cats are really very malleable.

Not /an/
You mean I*
>>2070897
to show the fact that we humans are the masters of the animal world
sometimes you need to put the beasts down a peg or two, such as showing the normllay haughty cat a lesson of humilty.
>>2070930
but it's true
difference between cats and dogs and most other domesticated animals is that a cat would kill you without a seconds hesitation if it were bigger than you. everything it does is for itself only
>>2075325
you're trying too hard.
